Correct me if I am wrong, but does this program actually have a forum? I know the 888 people have one. I have beautiful screen shot demonstrating what happens when too much Viagra and 888 collide.

Default Affiliate Manager's life ain't easy...

As an affiliate manager, I would give anything to know what it is I need to write in my emails in order to get a reply... Even if it's a no, even if you want to use profanity, whatever - just reply to my emails! I do my best to appear as a real email and not spam, which I am after all a real person and not a machine...

Anyways, I don't know, as much is it sucks to get tons of emails everyday, it sucks no less to be ignored ; )

Well then start trying something else, other than email, email, email 24/7. The reason why most affiliates don't respond is a) we would be there all day if we responded to the mountains of emails we get b) "no" is normally translated to "try harder" and it gets to the stage where people start griping on forums like this one.

Start thinking outside the box a bit and you may avoid so much dissapointment.

To start with... Actually look at my website. More than one page. Tell me what you are going to give me to help fit your site in. For example, you look at my website - you see I have reviews for each site and and list all the games the casino offers.

Next - tell me all the basics of your program. Where do you operate. How much commission do you offer (and don't say "up to 30%" when it starts at 20%). How will you pay me? Where do you take players from? What geographies are the best for your casinos. What bonuses and promos would be the best to promote on my site.

Basically - you cannot send the same email to every affiliate and get a response. If you take the time to get to know each affiliate and their website BEFORE contacting them, you have a better chance to get a response. But of course, your program must have some respect in the community before expecting a response as well.

Thanks for your replies guys, I appreciate it a lot.

As for what brean78 wrote - I usually try to make a phone call, but most webmasters don't put their phone numbers on the their sites nor does the whois search shows it, so I settle for an email. But I get your message and totally understand what you mean.

Matted - Do affiliates really want all that information in a first email? would someone read all that? Seems too exhausting... I kinda thought it was better to send a short email letting you know I'm interested in affiliation, and then letting you check us out and deciding whether we have something to talk about. It's like hitting on a girl - I'm not gonna start telling her all the reasons why we need to get married, all the wonderful kids we're gonna have, the house, the money... I'm gonna ask her out on a first date and then she'll decide if she wants to continue... I have found that the shorter the email - the better are the chances of getting replied. Of course, I need to put something in to show that it's not a template... Still, you would know better than me so I hear what you say and take it with me for the future. I guess the approach needs to be revised from time to time and every affiliate has their own agenda.

Thanks guys and good luck to us all.

Dude, you are right, most affiliates do not want to be phoned. The only time I want to speak on the phone with the manager is if I have an existing relationship.

I dont mind 1 email from a program to let me know they launched... but truth be told I ignore those because I get too many of them and its impossible to try out each new program. I have had to use private whois on most of my websites as to avoid all the spam.

Also... some affiliates like me have 100s of websites, if I have 300 websites I don't need to be contacted 300 times.

Maybe you should try a different method of promoting your affiliate program. You could try the methods everyone else is trying, offer a select few affiliates that you know higher commissions, advertise on various forums, attend various industry conferences...

Whatever you do quit spamming!!!!

Never have or will I spam anyone. Besides I work for an operator, meaning just one website that has an online gaming platform, so I figure this is different than just another affiliate program. We are doing pretty good, I just wanted to know how I can elevate the % of people replying my emails/messages etc.

Thanks for all the tips, it's always good to hear what the other side is looking for, and I'll keep all in mind.

Can't believe, something like that is happening, I received today another email from LUCKY SPAM . The guy who sent email was very upset why I didn't replyed to his email because other affiliates already make big money.. and I lose a big oportunity.... , other affiliate already have depositors... ok.. that's enough for me..

IF ANYONE FROM LUCKY SPAM.. IS READING THIS THREAD.... LOOK I'M NOT INTERESTED TO PROMOTE LUCKY SPAM ...
