Default Max Exposure & WebPals Are Scam. Do Not Work With Them

Hi everyone, this is to notify you all about the activities of webpals a company based in Israel and their subsidary Max-exposure.com.

Both companies are a scam. Max Exposure simply fronts for webpals. Their agents will contact you and they are many ( john@max-exposure.com, thomas@max-exposure.com, james.g@max-exposure.com, gwen@max-exposure.com, sebastian@max-exposure.com, margeret.c@max-exposure.com, info@webpals.com, nicole@max-exposure.com ) agree a deal with you, get you to either write articles for them and embed their anchor text and URL or send you articles with their anchor text and URL already embedded and as you to post.

I was told they pay after 10 days and when I was not paid I was then told they paid 10th, 20th and 30th of the month. I have now waited 2 months and not paid.

I was in great need for money today and was assured I would be paid today and the day is passed and still no payment. Two of their agents are owing me a total of 1500 GBP.

I have sent several emails which were not replied. I called the numbers on max exposure's website turns out to be fake. Same as the numbers on webpals' website.

I even contacted the owner of freebettingonline.co.uk which is one of the sites they are promoting but he probably being part of the scam chose not to reply.

At a stage one James Gordon wrote me from Max exposure and actually got me paid for 700 job initially done which was what made me do more works for them not knowing it was merely a bait.

A little search on the internet for the name max exposure will show you they have done the same thing to many people. I went on facebook and said dozens of people also had the same experience as well. You can check their facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/maxexpmarketing/ to see what others are saying.

And couple of other people on this forum also called them out - http://www.gpwa.org/forum/scam-dont-...cy-226582.html

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM, THEY WON'T PAY YOU AND STILL BE RUDE TO YOU - LIKE JOHN WAS TO ME.

I am going to be sending them a link to this thread and hopefully they reply so I can post pictures of my conversations with them.

Edit : I was paid 600 pounds yesterday. Remaining 900 which is over due and another 600 not due till 20th of this month.

    a company based in Israel
I'm not sure why, but nearly all casino related companies operating from Israel are dodgy or corrupt. Thanks for letting us know, and I hope (even if it's unlikely) that you get your money.

I have a lot of them in my hand and I am ready to cause them a lot of problem until they pay me.

I've sold many links to Max Exposure / Webpals and to be honest they've always paid me but the communication is hard really.

Well I have worked with them for many links as well and although I have been paid one the first deal they have not paid me for 2 months now. And the first time they didn't pay until I went to their twitter and this time too they didn't bother until I have come here.

Rather than address my issue, they blocked me on twitter. Shows this company are just a scam.

They are not serious. They tried to work with me, but they were so bad and rude. At the end I refused to work with them. This is the kind of companies who hurt our business.

Can you or anyone else advise me on how to file a DMCA complaints at their Webhost and at Google?

I read somewhere this is possible.

Indeed. In fact that's like the first red light when someone points their location these days. But affiliates are being way too PC and don't wanna call it out like it is.

It would be a waste of your time. It's better to do your research before you begin working with them and not after you've been scammed. Like it's easier to prevent burning your hand on a hot stove, than healing it afterwards.

If you are into wasting your time, by all means lawyer up and go after them, but if you have not signed any contract, I highly doubt you'd have any legal ground, but a verbal agreement.

As far as I can make out xl media is the parent company, who own sites such as freebets .co.uk and freebets .uk, two very big sites in the UK.

Hopefully this thread helps with getting the rest of your payment sorted.

    based in Israel
For experienced affiliates who have been in this business for more than five years; that is a no go area. Higher probability of finding a needle in a haystack than an honest casino/forex company located in Israel.

True, Israel based companies are very special (but I've also made positive experiences). Thats why I make prepay only with all advertisers and bookmakers. If all publishers would do prepay the scammers would disappear very soon. Of course rev share can't be paid in advance, but flat fees can.

I find it a mixed bag with the Israelis, i've been done a few times, but same by some British ones. I recommend agreeing a contract and getting business references and numbers to check they're legitimate before doing business for the first time.

Xlmedia are actually aiding the scam. We spoke with them on phone but rather than try to look into the issue they claim they already paid max-exposure and webpals ( which I found out they actually own ) and the company should have in turn pay me.

That to me is idiotic. You engage a company to do SEO works for you and they in turn use bloggers and webmasters and end up not paying them and you think it is not your business? I will start creating threads on different forums to expose them if after tomorrow they do not reply and tell me how to be paid.

How about you helping with retweets and comments like this. If you and I speak against them, matter of time before they get out of business.

All email addresses Xlmedia have on their sites and on their whois record bounces. Shows they are just a scam but even if I do not get my money I will cause them so much problem that will prevent many affiliates from signing up with them.

I was ill for a while hence I didn't update this thread. I ended up getting 1200 of my money but they still owe me a lot of money and will continue my campaign against them now that I am back.
