When you will visit the IGB awards these days, when the warm up guy did his job, when the great moment is coming, when the "Standing Ovation" sign is blinking and your hip flask is empty once again, then keep in mind, that you forgot to nominate Renee and Celia, all of you so good people.

The following video shows, who is a real champion and even capable to run her own campaign, the best personal nomination advertisement I have ever seen in this industry.

This is a campaign for the real champion.
So vote for both next time, for Renee and Celia, when you want to see among others also the undisputed champions on the stage, when no "Standing Ovation" sign is necessary.

You mean the same Renee that's won the award least three times? That one?

    So *so* out of touch

Yes, the same Renee, and only those, who are out of touch, obviously still not recognize, that she and Celia are not nominated for the awards this year, which is a distortion of reality. Everyone forgot to nominate both, also those with the loudest mouth.

I agree with you, Leopold. Celia and Renee definitely deserve to be on the top of the list of awards for this year. They are professional Affiliate Managers who know how to take care of their Affiliates whenever they need them the most and for any trouble that they might run into.

Leopold is not out of touch. He is just realistic and reasonable. That's all.

No, the video is not from me. It's Renee's own idea and implementation.
    That makes it so great.

I made only this lousy thing here:

That's a great quote. I've never heard it before. It's certainly a quote I intend to keep in mind. Nice work, Leopold.

Here is another great and interesting quote. This is the first time I've seen this one.

"I don’t know what I will do with my life, but whatever it is, I will do it for the dignity of humankind."

    Brunello Cucinelli,
    Fashion Entrepreneur

Yes, Brunello is a true philanthropist.
As most designers, he interpreted his work as art.
And in all cases idiots are those who calling out art or design idiotic.
I would rather prefer to meet one artist or designer personally than 90'% of all people from this forum.

I have only met a handful of fashion designers in my life, but they all have one thing in common, they are very lovely people and are awesome at what they do.

First of all, I have to mention, that the conversation with you here in this thread is interesting and refreshing. Perhaps this thread will mutate also into an idiot-free zone here on GPWA, what - I have to admit - is not so easy.

Yes, they are very lovely people, because many of them have a complete different understanding of society, that is not common. I have never heard of one of those designers, that they called for violence or war in the public and to my knowledge none of them chased after innocent people or are obsessed by hate.

    On the contrary!
They are an enrichment for us.

And while we're on this subject:

After [German] Netflix presented me a few weeks ago the fantastic first season of "American Crime Story" (The People v. O. J. Simpson) now the 2nd season for me is also a must:

The main topic of this thread, originally started in May 2014, was based upon Stan James,

The thread did stay on topic for a good bit of time, and in fact Michael's post here
    http://www.gpwa.org/forum/member-foc...tml#post787995 and here
http://www.gpwa.org/forum/member-foc...tml#post788002 explained the legal position of why Stan James were listed as sponsors during that time frame.

Since that time frame this thread has gone in many different directions, and the original topic has become so splintered that we have made the decision to close this thread.

Any time any GPWA Member would like to open a new thread, they are free to do so, providing there is not already another thread covering the same topic. (posts in new threads covering the same topics may be merged at the discretion of the moderators)
