mobile gambling

Hey everyone, if everything works well i will have a good project (promotion channels for mobile casinos). Right now i am still researching everything and here is what i wanted to ask about.

does anyone know of legislation that specifically regulates mobile gambling? I know in US because of the 1961 act, it's illegal to bet using phone but what about europe.

in germany for example online gambling is illegal, does that also cover mobile casinos and bets?

if you can give me info to consider, i would greatly appreciate that.

as far as i know o2 - mobile operator in UK works with online betting companies and vodafone did work with a mobile casino.

but i need more info - can anyone help with this please?

I treat mobile the same way I treat traditional online... Mobile, once it makes it to the cell tower, operates much like a land line - unless you have a fancy satellite phone (which is somewhat rare)

I'm moving in the mobile direction - should be able to unveil my latest idea before football season starts in earnest!

I do not believe there is any special legislation (at least itn he US) for mobile gaming. From an affiliate standpoint (the only view I worry about) I treat mobile the same way I treat online gaming since the same laws should apply.
