I gave up a long time ago with Affactive and their spam. They contact the affiliate and the only thing that happens is the aff changes their email addy and sends 4-5 in its place.

Yeah, I am thinking there are no teeth in the handling of the complaints. I hear them say "we are on it" but seeing the amount of spam for many of their properties it appears they are more concerned with income as opposed to operating ethically. Not to single Affactive out, as there are many other programs on the list of don't give a hoot. But one has to start somewhere. One of them that acted irresponsibly is no longer around.

If there is a link in mailer to op out or report as spam use it and take it a bit further and contact icann ,I know Steve has a pile of links he gave us to use against the sparkles bingo spam. That is only way to stop spam or at least slow it down a bit is to report. Some people use throw away domains for their emails and when one get blacklisted they just move on to the next.

But it is the duty of the program to enforce it's standards of no spam. I think I have enough to fill my plate without having to go after spammers. If programs will enforce the T&C's of their program, it would be less attractive to the spamming affiliate.

    I disagree....

The fastest way to reduce the gambling spam is have the affiliate programs restrict access to the spammers accounts...

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!

I choose not to work with those who turn a blind eye. There are several habitual programs out there that are on the permanent shit list. I recall one program on the list approaching me at LAC '10 and the spiel of how they have improved, I recall telling them to clean up there kitchen then contact me in a year or two. Well, 2 years is nearly here and they have forgotten all about me and the kitchen is still a mess.

I think it is a valuable tool for affiliates to post up spam reports here so we can all see who is keeping a tidy place and who is not.

Affactive has been e-mailing me to promote their brands. Do you guys recommend not promoting them? I need a few US facing casinos to promote. What recommendations does anyone have?
    THanks!
