More NFL teams sign up for state lotteries

This might seem a little hypocritical, especially considering the NFL's staunch opposition against both Internet and sports gambling, but three more teams have signed-up for branded lottery games.

The New York Giants, Tennessee Titans, and Dallas Cowboys have all reached agreements with various state lotteries to launch their own branded lottery scratchcards.

    From Gaming Intelligence:

These three new deals mean that there are now ten NFL teams to have taken advantage of new rules allowing teams to use their logos on instant ticket scratchcards. Twenty-two NFL teams are still yet to sign deals, however the Green Bay Packers are expected to become the next team to confirm a tie-up with the Wisconsin Lottery later today.

A little hypocritical, it's a whole hell of a lot of hypocritical. Especially since NFL commissioner Roger Goodell says sports betting in Delaware will happen over his dead, cold hands. But lottery is fine, because lottery is not really gambling.. give me a break. It's all about the money.
