It isn't too often that Buzzy gets to link a story from TMZ. The tabloid site is reporting that NBC's poker TV show "Face the Ace" (which is doing beyond awful in the ratings) is the target of an $85 million lawsuit.
Brandon McSmith claims he pitched the idea of "Face the Ace" two years ago but got rejected. So now he wants to get paid. A lot.
Smith claims he pitched the idea to a company called Poker Productions -- but they rejected it.
Fast forward two years -- a show called "Face the Ace" popped up on NBC where contestants "select a pro from behind four smoked-glass doors." And guess who created it? Poker Productions!
