Need Help With Domain Name For Cancer Charity

I may be assisting a cancer charity in attempting to find a million fans to donate a dollar each.

I have two great domains for this, but I can't decide between the two, help me figure out the best one for this initiative!

If you can get the domains for very little, buy both.

DonateForCancer.org is clear, and straight to the point. People immediately know what your mission is by the name itself. I'd make a point to purchase Donate4Cancer.org as well. The word 'for' in domain names can be a hassle if you're verbally communicating the address to someone.

MillionsForCancer.org is good because the term millions can mean millions of dollars, millions of people, and packs some heavy weight in terms of the significance of your mission. Why stop at millions, though? A mission to acquire billions for cancer is more likely to get you millions.

I would go with millions and redirect donate to it.

Did you perform a whois search for the client who owns the donate4cancer.org domain? Turns out it expires on June 11th of this year. If it's not renewed, you may have the chance to grab it.

In terms of redirect, it's best to avoid 302, 301, Meta, and Javascript redirects. Direct the name to the site on the DNS level.

    Hey all!

Thanks for the input and votes. We did wind up choosing www.DonateForCancer.org and it would be amazing if everyone could fan us on our Facebook and Twitter and help get the word out about this charity.
