Need help on small joomla matter

Hi all

I have another Question
I am currently developing my website, made in Joomla
However, i have a small issue where I dont know how to get rid of it

When U visit the site, U will see the intro text, but on top of that, there is a text saying : WELCOME TO THE FRONTPAGE

I have no clue where I have to get rid of that :s
ANy help or tip where I can remove that would be greatfull!!

Try this (assuming Joomla 1.5): go into the menu manager, Main menu, click on menu items, click on the home item (i.e. the one you have published to the front page, it usually ends up called home!). Then go into parameters (System) and you should see the page title as 'Welcome to the frontpage'. Either click the radio button underneath to turn it off, or edit it to something you would rather see there (e.g. Welcome to Cardbluffers or whatever).

Hope that works, Joomla is a bit of a complicated pain to work with (well I am still learning it and I think so!) but I guess that is part of the price you pay for flexibility.

You might want to turn on SEO friendly URLs too, either by the built in thing (if you are using Joomla 1.5) or the sh404SEF plugin, just a thought!
