Default NETeller and Skrill accounts closed without any reason

    Hi,

My accounts got closed with NETeller and Skrill without any reason.

    They emailed me this:
I am writing in relation to your Neteller and Skrill Accounts. Both accounts are currently under review. As soon as we are in a position to update you further regarding the status of your accounts, we will do so.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused, and assure you that we will be in touch as soon as we have an update.

it's been over 3 months that the account are under review and their support doesnt give any answers and they are not answering over emails either.

They just decided to freeze the accounts with the money inside and steal them like any typical operator!

I would advise anyone in this forum not to use them and to take all your money from any account related to those companies, they are simply crooks that try to steal as much as money as possible and they dont even give any reason.

I provided all the documents all the proofs but for them its easier to steal the money and not to reply.

    Thanks

Same happened to me. They are not crooks, they are just very big and very poorly managed corporation. I had the same problem, they blocked even accounts where I sent money to.

My only luck was that I was VIP customer, so the CS was better.

Almost a month, nothing is moving.

I asked to move my funds to a Merchant since i cant receive it I dont have bank account.

And its been going and going, this is just outrages, no reason for closing the accounts and they been taking forever to answer to give any answer about it.

I had to ask for a favor from people i know so they can move the funds and now they take their time like they are holding 5 cents of mine.

I strongly recommend to take out all your funds and stop using it. I dont understand why affiliates are asking to use Paysafe they are the worst managed company that i have ever seen.

I dont even want to close the accounts they forcing me to close them and to take all the money out.

    Simply crazy!

Skrill can be brutal indeed. as a rule, I never leave positive balances in any of my e-wallet accounts as I have seen enough posts like this and it scares me to do so - a real shame at the end of the day. Hope things work out for you!

What a shame for a company that created its own niche.

I think Bitcoin ruined them. In this case, fear that Bitcoin will take over their core business (being the "other account" for gambling). I should have seen it coming when I heard a high-positioned Neteller manager talk about Bitcoin as a currency. Which it is not. A year later, they start accepting Bitcoin as a top up option.

This is how companies start acting once they get scared and start trying to catch up with non-existant competition. Chasing windmills. Look at Yahoo or Microsoft. Same thing. Self-destruct mode.

This is exactly the incredible thing. It is the changes of ownership triggered by the cheap money of the last decade.

They are done. But most other financial instututions, notably banks, are done as well.

Btw. I am almost sure that if someone starts to play with Bitcoins at Skrill/NT on larger scale, he would have another AML raid and account suspended.

I've had a Skrill account for years and never had any problems. What is the reason they closed down your account? They can't just do this without reason, can they?

Apparently they can both close your account and block your card for no good reason.

And if you enter Skrill verification procedures, you're entering the world of pain. Because even when you send them all documents to the email they provided, it's still not good enough, and you have to email someone else, and then they'll ask you to send the documents again.

It's really dramatic not to give the reason for closing the account to its customers.

It happened to me on a small amount, and I lost the will to claim the money. Apparently, some money I received was "earmarked" gambling, the accounts that received that money got suspended or closed. kind of wildfire. honestly Neteller, you are unfair as you knew all along this money came from gambling. you just decide to make a quick buck, knowing people with small amount would give up very easily. Pls enjoy the money, this is the last you will see from many affiliates/ players alike, bitcoin is coming your way!

To be fair, it is completely normal today for banks to close accounts without a reason (the reason behind is always that you are not profitable for them, or you are too much pain in the ass, which is costly too). And Skrill manages money for people, is regulated like a bank, so Skrill is de facto a bank.

I hate it very much and this is why I started to like Bitcoin even before it made a way into gambling. But banks close nowadays accounts very fast and it is a big problem. They just say "according to our TOS, we can do it... **** off".

The situation is even worse, because banks (and quasi banks like Skrill) nowadays make no money from the money, because interest rates are at 0% (or even worse below). So they want people who either use expensive cards or other services or who take a loans. They absolutely hate people who have money. So it is a paradox that more money you have the less attractive client you are, because you bring them only a little or even less and you cost them a lot, because the more money go in, the more AML they must do and it is a cost for them.

Skrill are indeed a total ****, but do not blame just them. It is the overall perverse environment, which made from banks a police for state, but they are not refunded for the job. Believe me the banks hate this, but they can not do anything with that. Until now everyone does what US want.

Usually bank gives you notification before closing your account and let you chance to take the money to wherever you want.
They force you to take the money only to your bank account and if you dont have one you screwed.

Moreover they close the account for 4 months without any reason without any chance on doing something with the money, i mean close the account but if i want to transfer the money somewhere except my own ban its my right its my money.
Since they left many countries they need to cut costs so they try to steal the money, its crazy that billion dollar company acts like crooks and thief's..

Yes, that is the difference why they really are ****.

    I was referring to:
I've had a Skrill account for years and never had any problems. What is the reason they closed down your account? They can't just do this without reason, can they?
I answered that yes, they can do that and it is normal. But not in this way.

I still do not think they do it on purpose of stealing the money. They simply flag too many accounts and they have no resources to handle it on time. Not that it makes any difference for a customer.

I have been fighting Skrill for nearly 6 months now and all I want to be able to do is send money. I have emailed them, called their customer support, and waited in Queue for hours. I have been redirected, ignored and lied to. If Skrill was not integral to functioning in this industry, I would have blown them off a long time ago.

Unfortunately, so many affiliate programs pay to Skrill and Neteller as the only alternative to a bank account (which I want to avoid at all costs).

If anything, the way they've started doing business made me reconsider my "ignore" stance on Bitcoin. So, ironically, Skrill/Neteller will force me to use Bitcoin, the very thing they're afraid of. If they weren't afraid and if they just kept doing their business focusing on their core and on their customers, I wouldn't have left.

As strange as it sound, I see where you're coming from, Bitcoin, anonymous easy to use, no one is asking questions and transactions are super fast !
The problem is that not everyone are supporting the currency yet..

Skrill are the only company were i've really lost it over the past 20 years.

If any company can bring the worst out in a person, it's them. I like to consider myself a liberal person. However, they had me shout ''Bulgarian B-----D'' down the phone, and i told them they want everyone to be poor because they are!. I actually felt a lit ashamed afterwards, but god do they nerve!

With that said, i've never had an issue with them since. I think much depends on location, and in this game they are a neccessity!
