add to that...
#3. The banner selection page is very difficult as the images are reduced, there is no mention of the banner size. So when you think you are clicking for a 125x125, you get a 250x250.
Please add the banner size, it means more to us than a banner id# that means nothing.

It appears to me that the click reports are not working and it certainly has no campaign data associated with it....
It looks like another backend change means reports are screwed.
These changes that are not well thought out just means more of a reduction in exposure instead.

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!

only some new ones seem to be there

Cobus told me that they might be able to add "clicks" to one of the new reports. Hopefully they'll take care of that soon. It will be great to see the referring URLs soon (once that report is fixed), but please don't scrap one vital stat for another.![]()
Hi there all,
Thanks for all the feedback - we are working on getting all the bugs sorted so that over time this new site will be a lot more streamlined and alot more user friendly.
There was a lot broke on the old site but folk had simply learned to navigate around it over time but feedback from over 250 of your peers and loads of new sign ups gave us some pretty clearn directions to take this rebuild.
Bear with us as we iron out the kinks and try bring you something truly useful!

hi Shane
I'm still not seeing any sub earnings which is my main income from here and have not received a payment in a few months, which I'm not sure if I'm owed one because I can't see sub earnings.
Can you give us an idea on when this will be sorted?
Also, ditto on the banners, I just tried to update my banners but after 20 minutes of trying to find the right size, I gave up.........
AmCan
- Just wanted to follow up and let you know that the "remember me" feature is in place for logging in.
AmCan and PokerTramp
- We are currently pulling the script for sub earnings and it should be in the report again in the next few days.
- PT, I will pm you seperately re: earnings
Chips and PokerTramp
- We are busy looking at a nice thumbnail solution which will display the following information for each banner:
> brand
> dimension
> language
> currency
Other questions:
- banners, we have a roll out schedule of a lot of updates which we are working on all the time including the older banners, direct download links etc. If you would like a specific older banner please let me know via email to shane@referback.com and I will send it to you.
- reports, please send any report comments to shane@referback.com as we are scheduling fixes and updates to the reports.
On a positive note...
1. Please check the referurl report and make sure you're happy with urls being returned
2. The Campaign section, previously Adtrackers, is now a much simpler process - any comments or feedback?
Shane
Hi Shane,
On the referring URL report, I see some URLs, but the visits, actives, and multiactives are showing 0 across the board for certain URLs.
What are actives and multiactives, by the way?
One of the referring URLs was truncated, so I'm not exactly sure which URL referred the visitor. Maybe you can increase the length of the displayed URL? Or make it so that when you hover over an incompletely displayed URL, the complete URL shows up in a hover box.
xhttp://www.best-bonuses.com/NoDep.htm shows up in my referring URL report, but this is not my site. Maybe they used my aff code or something. But in this case, I see "0" for the visits, actives, and multiactives, so it's hard to say if they used my aff code or not.
I'd like to see "clicks" added to the demographic report. You have it on the referring URL report as "visits," but it would be useful to have it on the demographic page as well. A report without click data is pretty much worthless, IMO.
You should also total the numbers in the bottom row of the referring URL report -- right now only the demographic report shows total numbers.
Lastly, I got an error message when I tried to update my banking details. It said "There seems to be a problem with some of your banking details. Please check them and try again." I checked -- everything looks good. The error message was not very helpful; I still don't know what's wrong.
Well, adtrackers were attached to links and if they no longer work then this means yet another link change......2. The Campaign section, previously Adtrackers, is now a much simpler process - any comments or feedback?
If so, why was something designed to NOT take advantage of current links?
If seeing stats the way we USED to see stats means a link change, then I am sorry I must totally disagree, it is NOT a simpler process and in fact is MORE work....
I too want to see clicks,,,,before you have players you must have conversions, and before they convert they usually must download....and none of that can take place until they visit and a visit is triggered by a....
.....wait for it....
....a click!!
Click stats are one of the important stats for many webmasters.... without that it is MUCH more difficult to judge conversion ratios and whether banner and link positions are working on any given site.

Thanks for the feedback Dave,
"referring URLs was truncated" - point taken, will brief it into the development team. For the time being you can use the Export feature which will open in excel and does not truncate the url's.
"Actives" - these are players who have deposited and played but already have a casino account at another one of the Belle Rock casinos, balancing this against your BRE number (unique customers) is a great indicator of who many 'new' visitors your attracting. E.g. 20 Actives, 20 BRE's means of the 20 players you found all were unique customers. Whereas 20 Act, 2 Bre's means that of the deposting players acquired in the report month 18 are exisiting account holders, who have now joined another BRE casino.
"Multiactives" - this is simply the number of players who have made 2 or more deposits and played. Essentially another quality metric, the assumption being that first deposits are driven by the promotion while second deposits and more are unincentivised and give a high level indication of a potential valuable player.
"like to see "clicks" added" - thanks for this, I will sit with the dev guys today and review the report (existing and planned) and work on the addition of click/visit data.
Wrt the banking error, can you email me the information you were trying to add so I can see why it failed? And of course update it for you once we've sorted it out

Hey Rick,
Colorful explaination and point taken... I am actually in the process of mocking up a revision of the reports and all the feedback given is being added.
As for your Trackers, those originally created were associated to a casino by the link you manually appended it to - this is still valid and will be viewable once we have the report up ad running.
The new system creates the full link for you (no more manual appending) which allows you to simple copy and paste the url it create and will also pull through in the report.
Shane
I would dearly love to see all these problems people keeping talking about but unfortunately, my log in info no longer works. Ho hum.
Thanks for the update Shane, but to be honest....if we append the link ourselves it is actually easier....
This means we can use a single link and the only thing that changes is the "campaign" part.
However, making the stats work to show us clicks along with the associated "campaigns" or whatever you want to call it, is a step in the right direction....although this step would have been better taken had this been worked into the update when it first went live.
I may switch to the newer links at a later time since they may offer a deper look at the stats....but it will be a year or more before links on sites today will be cleared from search engines' caches.

Hey Rick,
Just to clarify, when the stats are running for the Campaign report it will also pull through the links you have already made manually. That data will not be lost.
Our reports still always favor the brand as the primary point of reference, so even if you create an id '101' using Gaming Club, should you manully append that id to for example Riverbelle it will still show stats for both brands in the report we plan to release.
The decision to make the link append automatically to a url was based on a survey sent while we were planning the new site and 90% of respondents found the old system difficult to use... the greatest confusion point was linking the ad id to the brand - so we simplified the process.

Hi Shane,
How are things coming along? Do you think you'll have click data showing in the stats soon?
Also, I think it would be useful if the date fields had default values of the first day of the month (for the "date from" field) and the current day of the month (for the "date to" field). This would save a few clicks.
Lastly, the Referring URL report don't seem to work anymore.![]()
I had a meeting with the dev guys are we're hoping to have the first set of clicks in the reports in netxt week. I know the demogrpahics report was being set up - I'll have more info on the financial report timeline next week as well.
Thanks for the suggestion, I've been mocking up the reports to simply select current month, so no need to select a day range, simply just the month - would this be of use?
I just checked the refer url report and it is working, took a little while to pull the data but was working. If you get any errors please email me a screen shot... shane@referback.com
Have a good weekend.
