    Default New Google+ Page Look/Layout

I love the new layout and look of G+ business pages. Although it is not fully rolled out, pages that have had a lot of exposure are already visible in this new format. Check out the video from the Big Google: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vF5RovO5R8w

What do you think? Looks like a cross between Pinetest and Facebook lol. Will it mean anything for the online gaming world? I have noticed that the descriptions under websites on G+ have the meta description removed... this would make false keyword-stuffing alarms to not go off for one.

It's still growing on me, looks a bit 'busy' at the minute but I guess it's just like when Facebook changes, just need to get used to it.

I like the new look although it takes some getting use to. But the feature where the number of coloums change depending on your browser width is pretty neat I think.

    Regarding this -

Not likely on short term as the G+ T&Cs are at the moment - It basically states that it is prohibited to promote gambling on G+. I think that's why many of the gambling related profiles are "fake" and not participating actively besides sharing their own content.

It'll be interesting to see whether the T&C changes towards gambling - and when G will start kicking out "fake" profiles. But probably not before there's a lot more activity and users

There is a distinct difference between talking about gambling... and promoting gambling. If I were to say, "Click here to gamble for real money" that would be promoting, advocating the action directly. Talking about news, reviews of online casinos, all have been accepted on Google+. As a precaution, I labeled my business page "adult". This prevents me from doing somethings there, but at least it represents that we are speaking about adult things. Of course, using the example in quotes above, you are asking for trouble in the long run.

If it were not allowed, would you not think that Google would block the name of my community automatically? What about the 100+ casino google+ pages?

Gambling Community - Online Casinos Stream

We have a lots of active participants, and if you like, you are always welcome to join and post. I just ask that you please describe what you are posting with a couple of sentences, or there's a chance it would be removed.

The new interface is getting better by the day. I appears that they are having problems getting some of the visual effects working properly, because I see some differences when comparing it to the video. If you think about it in terms of "cards" and treat each post's card as a little window into relevant content it helps navigate it easily.

I like it better, it does look more like pintrest. I am sure they will change the layout again shortly. They just did another change on youtube as well.

I don't necessarily agree with you that there is a difference between promoting gambling and doing reviews - but that's obviously semantics and we can only guess what Googles perspective is
Bu I don't think there's any reason to doubt why you or anyone else would make a review - It's promotion

I also don't think G+ would auto block anything as of yet - Their network is still very much in its early stages and they can use any post/group/page they can get their hands on. Although they are reported to have deleted "fake" accounts.
    Besides - blocking

I've joined the community btw - Probably won't be posting much though as my main responsibility is our Danish market

Hi, does anybody know how to change all that code for a Google+ page into something more personalized?

Thanks for the reply. I did read though that they are planning it, but until then, it looks silly and hard to promote.

I doubt very much they will let you personalize it much. It now automatically changes YouTube links in to the title of the video as the anchor text when copied inside of a post. This can let you reference several videos using a better format than a bunch of numbers after the urls all within one post. One of the big problems with G+ as a social network is that it pigeon holes it's users. This update seems to have broadened the delivery of non-followers posts. I can see more online casino related stuff than before, and I found my audience is become (slightly) more diversified.
