Default New here, need some help

I'm new to the gambling affiliate business and am doing this sort of as a hobby but would like to see a little bit of money coming in. I'm also new to the web design thing, this is my first website I've built. I was wondering if I could maybe get some advice and help. Basically, how are you supposed to attract quality web traffic that will actually sign up through the sites you are promoting. I am doing this on the side and keep adding, editing, fine tuning things. Anything that might help would be greatly appreciated.

welcome mili123, it takes a while to generate consistent income for the most part. What is your niche? why dont you post up your site so members can take a look and give you some tips.

Since I'm a new member I'm not allowed to post links or sites until I have 5 posts. Add a dot com to the last three words of the post though and you'll find it. I would say i don't really have a niche, just general casino ranking, poker, slots review. I'm just getting little to no traffic, I know I should be patient but I'm looking to sources to help me out. Thanks!

It looks good but I can see from the archives that it is very new. Have you done anything to market it? It needs content on a steady basis. Also you can make it a bit more social network friendly.

That site will monetize with the right brands when you get traffic. Whats your plan for marketing? Pay per click? SEO? Social Networking?

Thats what I need help with. I've been trying to read up on SEO, but it's all kind of a blur to me. As far as I can tell Facebook doesn't allow sites like this? What social network sites allow me to market it. I'm trying to add more content and resources each week.

If you would like to know about SEO - then check out this infographic: 200 Google ranking parameters. It's quite informative

    A few items I noticed:

Your home page title just reads 'My Casino Options ' consider expanding a little, keep it short though eg My Casino Options - Get The latest Casino Info (you can do better than that, just off the top of my head, consider not having My Casino Options in it, will give more room for something better

Personally I'd avoid flashy ads on the home page. Use the space for interesting/valuable info and try to pull visitors in, or if you don't want to do that then present some reason (other than the banner itself) for visitors to click.

The home page looks like one million others, try and find a unique (or at least slightly different way) to present it.

The reviews (or the one I looked at) are very light. Have a look at other casino sites (there will be many from members here) to see how it can be improved on.

I suspect visitors are unlikely to read the content on the home page. Improve it, make it scannable, maybe pull some of it out into short bullet points.

I don't understand why social icons are moving after me during scrolling down or scrooling up, and they are also flying over the whole site when I go into another section. it's better to put them in one visible place, e.g. in the footer.

the tables on the left side look ok, but the titles of separate categories are not so visible on this blue background - maybe you should change the colour of font.

forum - maybe start some topics to make your users will start replying?
