Yeah I have already read the guide, and I'm looking for content and how best to build the site. I'm ranked #1 for "cashforfree" but not in the top 1000 for "cash for free" so I got a lot of work to do yet!

With a term like free cash you will certainly be busy!

You do not seem to be in the sandbox. Otherwise the search wont return anything when you modify the search terms a bit. There's nothing much you can do at this point, but to start building content and links.Let time do the rest.

Explore around, various affiliate sites. There are many ideas you can pick up from there. One thing that comes to my mind when I look at the site is the lack of images, gambling ones. Another thing, I'd link all bookmaker's names. The book itself wont do you any favors, why should you mention them without even using your affiliate links. Know that most sign ups for many people come from links, not banners.

When you click on Top Offers & Archived Tips your menu changes and everything else disappears. This would give you less exposure on your content in general.

Good job on your tipping section. I came, I read where are your links so I can sign up? How about the odds for your tips? As someone that offers tips, know that most visits come from long tails from Google. Therefore you need to have them as separate posts. Right now they are under a div ID in the index.html, not even in a category.

I think if you are serious about this you would have to eventually merge to wordpress, joomla, drupal or something similar. It will easy your content writing, updating and SEO work much easier. The sooner that happens the better as well.

Also this surprises me that nobody has made a comment so far but a picture of Al Capone in your about page? Wiki's description reads: Occupation Gangster, bootlegger, criminal, racketeer, boss of Chicago Outfit.

In a business that you are suppose to create a trust in your readers, are you sure this is the image you want to have up there?

Hope you will get the best of these suggestions.

I will consider replacing the "mentions" of the site with my affiilate links but I don't want to sacrifice the aesthetics of the site to accomplish this, however if needs must I will.

I've been thinking exactly the same thing in regards to SEO. All my updates get buried in HTML updates and buried within my posts. I've been doing a lot of research into long tails, but cannot work out how to make it work within my site. I've stayed away from Joomla, Wordpress Etc is to offer a sense of "uniqueness" to the site, to make it stand out. They updating and publishing is easy enough for me, but as you say SEO, a problem. I can't find a solid solution to my SEO issue currently, and I've been pondering it for some time!

I think your right in regards to the toolbar and & I'm going to unify this across the site's pages. Giving them access to the other parts of the site should they want to. In regards to to Al capone it may not be the correct image in hindsight, it's a remiscent of design version one, and I will consider resting him back to his Chicago home.

Once again, thank you for everyone's input!

Well I believe that any of those CMS platforms and the benefit they will bring to your website in terms of updates, security, design and seo will vastly outweigh any sort of uniqueness. With the more work you get the more idea will start to pop in your head.

Their implementation will most likely require some knowledge of java php or more. The benefit of the cms platforms is that they have tons of open source plugins ready to satisfy every need of yours.

That once again is my opinion, which I believe you would eventually agree with if you just give it a try. Even make a test folder and try it on there.

I already do with agree with you that a CMS would be massively useful, the only problem is that I can't currently use it and monetize the site. They need to be able to read all the tips at one sitting, put If I post individual match blogs, for SEO (long tails) then they won't be able to read them all one after each other, as well as been drawn away from the Aff links. It's a question of how to best restructure the site, but currently, I can't find a way.

Unfortunately my plans for the site just wern't viable under the old style, so I've moved all my content over to a CMS as advised by Xecutable.

I've tried to balance style and substance, in an effort to monetize my site.

    Thoughts?

Well now this looks great and has a lot bigger potential. You can change themes whenever you feel like if you ever feel like and will be as easy as 1 2 3. Navigation looks all right to me, although I am not sure what the last 2 things after free bets are.

For tracking purposes I advice you change your links from yoursite/brand/ to yoursite/out/brand, or yoursite/go/brand as Analytics will not pick them up as outbound links. I realized that, 2000 posts into the website and the makeover wasn't very fun, fortunately there was a plugin that helped out.

You would need to add some images to your previews and generally everywhere as the site looks a bit "dry" for now. But don't worry this is absolutely normal, I remember the first day wordpress was up, it had the very same look. It will improve the more you use it. Start using rel="nofollow" for your affiliate links. You do not need to pass juice your brands and it will only hurt your PR.

I'd advice not to use bit ly for your affiliate links, especially when I see you have learned how to cloak and make them look like part of your domain. I believe you are in good hands though and any other questions should be referred to him as he will guide you in the right direction.

Here are just a few of the things I will changed: Get rid of comments (I remember messing up with the SEO); Get rid of the meta tab. Don't need to point people to your login section; Get rid of the theme footer link towards their website; Fix your FB link as it doesn't work because an extra facebook dot com gets in front of it.

As I said at this point I will not just listen to what ur guidance has to say, as different people will give you different suggestions and you can easily get confused.

The two things after the free bets are my "aces in the hole" so to speak , so there needed :P

I've changed the links to mysite/out/brand as described, Images and the general feel of the site will be improved going forward, site creation is an evolution as we all know! I think I've switched to the "no-follow" as advised.

I'll move the aff links away from bit.ly shortly, I just use them, because there less clunky to look at before I masked them.

Unfortunately our "mutual friend" hasn't been in touch with me really, although I've tried contacting him numerous times, so I decided to carry on regardless.

I'm leaving the comments in for now, I want to try and get a community flowing around the site, with a "pub" atmosphere, but we will see how successful this is in time. Meta tab has been remove, FB link fixed, but It look's a bit daft, I'm unsure how to get round this atm, so I will see how it works.

    Thanks for your support.

Great, stuff. and your are welcome. The reason why I have removed the comments after I think about 1 year and 6 months, or around there is because I've had close to 14,000 comments from which no more 20 legit the rest were link builders and spam.

Just a quick update, I had my first "invoice" issued by a sportsbook this month, and it's been a rather successful start.

A big thanks to xecutable and everyone else
