    New payment method for affiliates

    Hi Guys

I want to get affiliate input on a payment option.

I am potentially looking at new payment option for affiliates to get your monthly commissions.

How would you feel about having a mastercard issued to you?

At the end of each month you would have your commission paid to direct to the card, with the card you can use it in most retail locations ATMs ect. If other operators sign up to the same payment option you would be able to be paid from multiple operators all to one card.

Would this be better for you than say Neteller ect???

Thanks for taking time to vote

That would be great Shaun, since you are associated with IA, would it be possible to use the Intercash card they have? I get my IA payments to it and love it (not just cause I get paid in GBP). My concern is if we do not have a more universal payment card, we wind up with a slug of cards fatting our wallets.

My vote is a resounding YES!!

    Interesting...

its an interesting idea but the main problem with any payment method including a card is the daily cash out margins from an ATM worldwide

Neteller for examble has already a mastercard (net+) you can withdraw money direct from your your neteller account from any ATM but the problem is that you can withdraw only 750 euros (daily) but practically every three days

I beleive this is the main problem for someone that needs his cash quicly
its useless if i have money in my account/card if i cant take them quicly

Being from Canada, Neteller is not a viable option any more so yes, a prepaid MC would be good for me.

Another option to consider is InstaDebit. Great for Canadian players and affiliates.

At this point, "player account" is my best option since I don't like all the moneybookers fraud problems.

    Hi ThePokerKeep

We went live with Insta Debit a few weeks ago and so far it has been huge for players, currently we only have it as deposit method but in the future we will have it as cash out option as well once that is live I wil be able to use it for affiliate payments.

In the mean time I am looking at Inter Cash and the Mastercard idea which I am really starting to like.

    Thanks

    Shaun

I have just read through the info they have sent me and it says that you can take out €750 $1000 £500 per day via the ATM up to $20k per month and you can still use it to shop ect, is that enough for you?

And if you are making $20k plus per month I really think we shoudl become good friends and talk business....

    Awesome news Shaun!

Instadebit is awesome even though it requires a deposit at each room to activate the withdrawal option. Let me know when you have the player withdrawal option hooked up, please.

I think he is referring to his particular bank placing a limit on the daily ATM withdrawals. My bank does the same. It's a hassle getting it increased and they periodically reset them to the lower limits as a fraud prevention tactic. Then we have to go through the hoops again. And my wife works at the bank... I can only imagine what others go through!

Something like this would be great for all the affiliate programs to do. Maybe that's something the "65" could do that are setting up an affiliate organization ?

I actually voted 'no' because, for me in the UK, I'd prefer to have my money in my bank account where I can see it. However, thinking it through more clearly, I can certainly see the advantage to affiliates in the USA and other territories where things are currently a little, shall we say, tricky.

It is my understand that with this payment method you have an online account with the card so that you can bview you balance 24/7.

    Thanks

I really think that a pre-paid card would be an ideal solution for affiliate payments as this would certainly eliminate 3rd-party commissions, if there were going to be charges for this service it must be competitive with processors like neteller and moneybookers etc.

I suggest you try Moneybookers. It's not bad at all.

Its not a pre paid card, its the same as say your Citi mastercard or your Morgan Stanley mastercard, basicly we load the credit card atthe end of each month with your commission as any other operator that uses Inter Cash can also load your card, you are then free to shop or go to the ATM what ever you want.

From the feedback I have had so far I am really feeling that the affiliate community feel this would a benefit to them.

    Thanks

I don't have any credit card yet so I think it would be best for me if the commision payment would either stick to paypal or through emails payment.
