    New release / fixes

    Hi All

I've been off sick and now back at work (hope you didn't miss me too much).

Anyway I wanted to publish the list of upcoming fixes.
For now the following fixes are being uploaded on our internal environment and are being tested:
    • Report by profile
    • Sub affiliate revenue
    • Sub affiliate report (multiple affiliates)
These are meant to be deployed live next week.
As soon as we are going to deploy them, we'll let you know so you can guys can check and help us make sure they are working correctly.

Since this is the first "release" we are having from new vendors I would like to take this step by step with you guys and then we can focus on the larger list.

As I see probably the best way to do this is updates until deployment and then testing effort by anyone who wants to be involved.
Once we're through these fixes then we can work together on the priorities for the next items in the list.

    Thanks.

    Marc

OK I have been doing a bit more digging and comparing and running reports etc....

When testing some of the reports at another Playtech I found that theirs also has the flaw of some of the totals being wrong when you change the query.

When reporting by Channel or Brand in addition to date, the Top Level revenue gets set to zero. When the query is run by Stats date or Stats month only the Top Level Revenue figure is correct and accurate.

Banner query also caused this, but campaign query worked. (In the above scenario campaign is NOT profile as at that Playtech channel replaces profile)

Obviously further testing is also needed on the Europartners backend, but since I have more activity over there I am able to see results more accurately.

This leads me to believe that the root source code of the software as it came from the original developers has the flaw.

If/when the problem is figured out, the honorable thing to do would be to supply the other Playtech with that information.

    Hi Rick

    Thanks for the testing results.
Vendor is also reading these threads now everyday, but I will make sure to pass this on in the morning.

I'll make sure to pass on to other Playtech as well.

    Hi Rick

Vendor says thanks for the heads up.
They will pass to other Playtech and we will make sure to test this issue completely before deploying.

Once this is live I would also appreciate your feedback on this.

    Thanks.

    Reports

    Hi All,

While testing the reports this week we found some issues. This will require us to conduct a short update on our side.

Early next week I will uptade you on the time frames for these upgrades.

    Best,

    Cashier and Reporting

    Hi All,

Have a couple of updates for you.

The Cashier link has been removed in order to avoid anymore confusion in that area. We have also upgraded the reports. You can now get reports by dimensions; brands, dates, etc. This should be live and fully functional. If you come across any issues please let me know.

    Have a good one.

Since the vendor/developer/programmer/database person/team supposedly has access to this area I pose a DIRECT Question to him/her/them.

Can you run a direct query on the stats database and return results that include profile/channel results?

If not, why not since this data should be captured along with all other data that is captured at the visit.

If you can in fact recieve a satisfactory result from the query, why then is it so difficult to get the query to run from the affiliate stats page?

Has anyone told you that there is a possibility that the word profile has been replaced with the word channel?

So I guess the vendor is not reading these threads?

Bytheway, I have actually asked the question before, but it was not answered then either.

    Hi Rick,

I have checked into this for you and found that the Profile Report has been done and should be working, but it will only work with new links.

Hope this clears things up a bit.

One more bug. Stats > Player Stats > Player Name. When i try to see Players Total Revenue i see only $0.00

    Example:

    Player User Name: CAF******
    Real First Deposit: $100
    Bonuses: $2000
    Top Level Revenue: $0.00

    Hi BillyBoy,

In regards to the difference between "Player Username" and "Player Code", both represent a unique ID for a player within our system. You can choose by which you prefer to view the player, but they are both basically the same thing.

As for you inquiry regarding you player and no amount showing us for Top Level Revenue, please PM me the player's ID and we will be able to look into this further for you.

    Best,
    Robin

You should work more on your affiliate software .... a lot of bugs, statistics not updated , Revenue tab showing all the time $0, etc...

Is the dashboard ever going to be fixed? If so, when?

When will the sub-affiliate report for all sub-affiliates be available?

    They didn't fix anything....

They claim campaigns were fixed, but only if we change links so they didn't bother fixing what they had.

They have made an absolute zero progress on making it easier to track sub-affiliates but they continue to want more affiliates.

Since you and I haven't been picking on them every few days they rarely ever post anything anymore, and certainly have not kept us in the loop as per progress on fixes because there haven't been any.

Last summer I predicted it would be a year and in fact somewhere around the 8 or 9 month mark I actually asked if they would be squared away by summer and of course they were a little upset that I might be making them look bad....

That was never my intention, my intention was to get them to actually fix the mess that was created....

And instead of fixing the cashier section they just turned off the links for it. So now there is no way that I know of to ever even see any kind of running total of money owed to us....

The old Playtech software allowed us to go into the "monthly earnings" report and easily see what was earned during any specific period, what was paid and the balance owed....

Now this is all on us, our own spreadsheets etc...

All things considered, how should we assess this situation?

Raw Downloads, Real Downloads, Raw Clicks, Real Clicks, Fun Players, Real Fun Players, Comp Amounts, Bonus Amounts, Casino Player, Player IDs ...etc

Are we to accept this level of redundancy as a greater level of reporting or should we see it as a means of confusion?

My EP June stats showed 0 in the casino player column ... to me that means I should have seen zeros across the board. Instead I see 26 in the Deposits cnt field, $4147.00 for Deposits amt, $252.00 for Comps amt, $5904 for Bonus Amt, then $6750.00 for Withdaws ...

If there are 26 deposits - shouldn't there be a number in the Casino Player field?
