Newbie with 15K visitors per day

    Hi,

First post here and first post on a gambling forum. I've been managing flash gaming sites for the past two years with the biggest one being playedonline.com which gets around half a million visits per month.

Recently, my revenues have dropped considerably due to advertising budgets going down. So in response, I'm looking for other monetization opportunities and the gambling industry seems lucrative.

I signed up with two affiliate programs that offer flash games. 888 and TowerAffiliates. I then created a Casino Games section on the site and added their games.

It's only been up for a few days so the stats don't mean much, but it seems even though the games get a total of 3,000 plays per day give or take, very few click through to the affiliate's site and none have registered so far. (Tower Affiliate stats are either broken or seriously delayed as they all show zero).

I'm looking for advice on which affiliate programs to join and how to increase conversions for the traffic I have. Any advice would be appreciated.

Would you happen to know your user demographic at all?

Free games can often yield young players which may be the reason why none have registered?

You may want to get a new slant on your traffic by encouraging them to play 'adult' games (18+ not kinky bedroom games). Maybe add a section reviewing different types of slot games and table games, play for free or sign up for a real account.

The other thing that you might consider could be shopping links such as consoles and gaming or gadgets. Not as lucrative but maybe more targetted to your traffic?

Give me a shout if you want to discuss this further and see what might or might not work?

    Cheers,

    Martyn
