So... being slow as usual. I'm just now getting my airline tickets and hotel reservation. But I want to be smart about my flight and make sure I come in at a time that will get me to the hotel on some sort of shuttle.

What's the latest info on transportation from the airport to the hotel? Shuttle? $44/person each way?

Anyone know what times this shuttle is available and if we need to have it set up ahead of time or how this works?

    Thanks..

Ok, I just called the hotel and talked to the Concierge. He said that my best option would probably be to fly into Buffalo, and then take a taxi from the airport straight to the hotel.

Going that route, he said the taxi cost, including any tolls along the way, etc., would only be about $85. No stops at every hotel along the way like the shuttles would do. And the cost is the same no matter how many are in the car. Otherwise, he said I can book the shuttle and pay almost that much one way on a shuttle from Toronto, and then would have all the shuttle stops along the way.

Anyone have any better findings? I need to get with it here and book my flight, etc. Which airport to fly into? Shuttle or Taxi? Hmmm..

https://www.niagaraairbus.com/ you should contact them direct .The thing about buffalo is you have to cross the border which can be very slow at times.it was 44.00 each way.I don't think they go to any hotels ,they leave toronto airport and go to niagara falls .

That is the former Hiram Walker plant, here in Windsor, it was (may still be) where they made Canadian Club and shipped across to Detroit during Prohibition. Today it's where Wiser make its whisky. 30 minutes south, in Amherstberg is the Seagrams plant. Canadian Whisky is made (or at least traditionally) from Rye that is fermented into 'beer' then distilled into whisky. Bourbon is corn based, Scotch from malted barley and Rum from sugar cane/molasses. These days vodka is made from anything that can ferment, at bacardi in Nassau, it's sugar/molasses,

now i want a drink, go figure... see all in about 10 days!

This weekend is really filling up. It looks like there are 4 or 5 sponsors now.

Dale and I still have room for 1 passenger. Smoke free transportation but will stop for coffee and smoke breaks.

We'll be leaving London, Ontario at 2pm. Traveling through Guelph so we can pick up our son and will arrive sometime around 5pm at the hotel.

If anyone is on the fence.... this will be an awesome weekend, fun and educational. Don't miss it!
