Numerous Affiliate Programs Don't Respond Anymore

I have had occasional past issues with affiliate programs or managers not responding but most recently several have ignored me I guess because I was asking for assistance or early payments. I wrote one the other day for an early payment because I won't have a Thanksgiving this year and still no response.

Even if the answer is no, at least have the respect and write back!

Most of the affiliate programs cannot do payment runs outside the normal time frame as they do month end audits .However they should acknowledge your emails.

Its also a hard time for many programs who being stressed to bringing in more revenue. These days Ams are always under threat of losing their own job, and many programs appear to be on the verge of closing down. Hope things are alright with you and hubby.

I realize the industry is tough for many on all sides, my only point was that even when I'm not asking for financial help, I haven't been getting responses as I once did.

I agree, I don't understand how it can be afforded at this point.

Hope things are alright with you and hubby.
No, it's not been good, we are no longer together and that just made things worse on me. Will be having some form of pasta dish for the American Thanksgiving but I am thankful to at least have that much. Thank you for asking!

Cash Do you have friends or family to spend holidays with or somebody from your community church?Every time I cook a turkey we have enough for 10 extra people.I think you need to find a way to involve yourself in things to make friends where you live for times like this.Food is just one part of the holiday ,I could have a grilled cheese and play board games with my family and be happy .Having people to share time with is the important thing , I hope what I sent you helped a bit and I wish I could do more but our own homeless shelter is busting at the seams .http://stvincentskitchen.com/supportus.php is where we donate every month ,hopefully others who can help will help their locals too.

Cash2C - I know you didn't ask for any handouts but I would like to buy you a turkey for Thanksgiving so you can save the pasta for another day.
Pop me a pm with your paypal address. Take it as my Thanksgiving present to you

Thank you guys. It really helps to have the support and words of encouragement! It's really strange the way my friend and family base has dwindled over the years. Partially my fault as I became a more distant person, recluse to some degree I guess you could say.

Doing early payments and paying outside of the scheduled payment period is no longer the option for most affiliate programs. There are many factors which rely on paying affiliates and this includes in the company settling up the amount and doing the accounting at the end of the month and then paying for what the affiliates have chosen as their payment preference. Affiliates need to be on top of making sure their payment preferences selected for each affiliate program are up to date and correct. As having an error here can result in your payments being further delayed.

As for response I for one try to respond to every email I receive but there are certain occasions I need to wait to hear back on answer before sending a response.

Cash the best gift you can give yourself is to force yourself to go out of the house and do something different ,volunteering is a good way to meet more people like yourself.I imagine living with a drug addict has not helped your self esteem either .My friend drives cancer patients to their treatments ,she divorced at 62 and was quite depressed losing her husband after 23 year at this stage in life. You may feel helpless right now but there is always something you can do to better yourself.Your website is old and if you put some effect into updating your own content there is no doubt you should see some results from your work.

I decided not to post in the other thread, but I thought I would post now.

As someone who has been in your situation, I can tell you that after a few months you will look back and realise that leaving was the best thing you have ever done, regardless of the amount of debt you're in and regardless of how unhappy you may feel now.

I've just paid my debt off after many years. Couldn't be happier. It was a VERY expensive lesson, but one I had to learn none the less. You should keep the thought that it will get better in the back of your mind as motivation. As Steve said, it can only go up from here, and it will

    Good luck.

Yup Judy is spot on!!! - I agree! Volunteering is great way to feel great! Always remember there are people worse off then yourself. Whenever I have had a rough time in my life I try and remember this. Things are never as bad as they seem and there is always new doors to be open to improve ones position in life. We only have one and making the best of it is what counts. No matter how hard got to keep on moving.

I know for me I love to save cats and care for unwanted cats - this is something -probably the most rewarding - thing i could do to make me feel great. If I was a veterinarian I would be bankrupt!! LOL

No matter how hard - work on the websites - create some content and change things up - spend 2 hours each day improving the sites from now until the new year - keep the mind busy with ideas to improve it and like Judy said you will be surprised how things turn out.

Wishing you the very best - I would like to say though being alone "single" has so many blessings! Its a time to be introspective and correct some of things about your own self - which is worth more then anything money can buy.

I agree, I will have to get out and figure a way to live again. My self-esteem is definitely down. I will be focusing on the website soon and hope to bring it back to its better days!

I thought it may be nice to put faces with the story.
