Betway IS NOT ACCEPTING ANY TRAFFIC from France and that is it.

We can add Unibet to the list, aldo they applied for license - when it will come out and in what form/product they will accept players from France remains unknown.

I suggest you add a disclaimer in your Betway review telling players from France they are excluded from playing at Betway.

That should satisfy them as it shows you are doing your best to discourage players from France signing up at Betway.

I've browsed online and found these Microgaming casinos to be accepting French players in my opinion, since they are offering bonuses for new French players ( from http://www.casinoveritas.co.uk/Frenc...e-Casinos.html ):
    - Wild Jack Casino
    - Desert Dollar Casino
    - Platinum Play Casino
    - 7 Sultans Casino
    - Royal Vegas Casino
    - Vegas Palms Casino
    - Vegas Villa Casino

Also, I've read that Microgaming has also applied for the license to operate in France, though I think that it is only for online poker rooms.

From what I heard, online casinos won't be legalized before 2012 in France. Roxy Palace and Spin Palace closed their doors to French players this week and I think the other Microgaming casinos will be forced to do the same in the next weeks.

That's really bad news for me, I think it's time to move on to other markets. So that leads me to this question: what are the biggest European markets for online casinos?

The French gaming authorities (Arjel) really focused on operator applications for the first few months. Now that things are dying down on that aspect, they are starting to flex their muscles a bit-I'm not surprised casinos are starting to drop.

In August Arjel sued seven ISPs based in France for allowing access to unlicensed operators. Sites that were focused on at that time were Betfred and Stan James, but the lawsuit is aimed at shutting down ISP access to ALL casino, poker and sportsbetting operators illegally operating in France.

As of right now, the ISPs are being threatened with a 100 Euro/day per website fine. While it's really focused on the ISPs right now, not the operators, there is an obvious trickle down effect. So far it has really been focusing on unlicensed poker and sportsbetting sites, but no doubt casino will fall behind too.

If would suggest that affiliates contact their attorneys to see if their site could make them liable in any Arjel cases that may come out in the future. Arjel is penalizing affiliates as well, so it's a good idea to know where you stand...

Everest Affiliates did a podcast with CasinoCity in July about the new French laws-if you haven't done so yet, I would suggest you check it out.

I have new players in October and November from France at my microgaming casino programs, I thought they would not accept new players ?

I just do not understand why sites like casinosguide.net can survive with almost ALL microgaming brands ???

Am I missing something here ?

I heard that online those online casino who have secured a French license are those that can only operate in France and can continue to accept French players. And if ever they do not abide with the law, they will face the consequences, the French government will be chasing them to have them penalized.
