Online gambling companies expect $1 billion in bingo

The GPWA Times Magazine has a cover story on online bingo in its latest edition and it's a worthy read if you get a chance.

In a similar vein, Gambling Online Magazine has recently posted an article that says revenue from online bingo is expected to be about $1.3 billion by the end of 2009.

Two of the biggest bookmakers in the UK have reported increase in sales figures. William Hill has said that online bingo and skill gaming has risen by a huge 50% , but sales in their outlets fell. The company is looking a 50% growth by 2010 that would bring their $150 million. Ladbrokes who own over 2,300 betting outlets in the UK and Ireland, reported an increase by 30% in online bingo revenue.

We have a big site coming out next month for bingo that we started back in February , it was amazing to us to see how many bingos there are online .I think these numbers can be accurate we have Playtech bingo players who lose sometimes $5000+ a month .

    Speaking of bingo...

I think I'm right in saying that bingo is predominantly a British game (?), but we've just published a story on which bingo brands are leading when it comes to SEO:

Are a few affiliates in there too!
