Buzzy has been keeping an eye on Euro 2012 (thanks DVR). And when Denmark's Nicklas Bendtner dropped his shorts to reveal Paddy Power underpants after scoring a goal, it was chuckles all around.
But UEFA isn't smiling. They fined Bendtner €100,000 (£80,000) and suspended him from a World Cup qualifier.
Paddy Power is doing the right thing and paying the fine for Bendtner. But Buzzy is wondering if the penalty feels a bit harsh. As The Guardian notes, Porto was fined £16,700 because its fans were racially abusing Mario Balotelli. But Bendtner gets a £80,000 fine for guerrilla marketing. Doesn't seem right, does it?
