    Hi,

Please can you email us at affiliates@betfair.com with your username and the month's commission you have not received and I will investigate it.

    Thanks,

After almost 2 month delay and a dozen e-mails my payment is finally received. Thank you, Andre! Also I would like to add that as player I love Betfair but as affiliate I would say it is far away from the good standards in the sector.

Same problem. Not owed much but getting nowhere with Betfair Affiliate department despite numerous emails (and even a private message) sent over a period of many weeks. We are owed sports affiliate commission from August onwards. The games commission has been paid. Anyone else not getting paid for sports or just us? Shame it comes to having to post on a forum about this. It has always appeared that Betfair have an affiliate program because they have to rather than want to.

Guess there is a first time for everybody not to receive payment, and this is my first time aswell.

The worse thing is that they dont reply to my mails, they just ignore me. I dont like it....especially since they are one of the bigger sites .

So Betfair is a site I definately wont be recommending to anyone

    Hi guys,

justbookies - I sent you a pm to regarding your payment on 19 Dec, however since then I’ve been informed by our Accounts Payable Department that unfortunately your invoice didn’t get approved in time. It will now be processed in the first week of January.

jvtelemark - sorry you didn't get a response to your emails. Your payment was included in our earliest available payment run after we resolved your IBAN issue. You can expect to receive payment by tomorrow. I've just found your emails that went to our Accounts Payable Department, please email us at affiliates@betfair.com in future and someone in my team will be able to get back to you.

Apologies to you both for the inconvenience caused.

justbookies, apologies - our accounts team did not process your Oct and Nov Sports invoices by mistake. I've told them to process it ASAP and this will go into our next payment run. You should expect to receive those two payments by the end of next week.

Your October Casino, Poker & Games invoice was processed and paid on the 14th December 2011. If you didn't receive it please let me know.

Your November Casino, Poker & Games invoice is awaiting final sign off by our finance manager and shall be processed next week as well.

Thank you for that. The issue was only ever about the sports payments.

Also, it seems inappropriate that such a matter should be discussed in a forum. It has only happened because of no proper response to about 10 different emails that I have sent over the last couple of months. You only need to deal with and answer affiliate emails, rather than ignore them, to avoid this sort of thing. I am not the first to comment about how the Betfair Affiliate Dept ignores emails.

I sent them a couple of emails with a response after 2 weeks - many of their competitors will respond within the day so that is why my efforts will be focused on.

Great brand - just unfortunate how their affiliate department doesn't reply.

justbookies, unfortunately I wasn't able to locate your emails, can you confirm which address you sent it to and I will try to find out why it wasn't answered.

In future please email us at affiliates@betfair.com

This is monitored Mon-Fri, during office hours by our team. We respond to all emails that come into this inbox.

Invoices were re-sent to "affiliatepayments@betfair.com" each time requesting payment 'as the invoice had not been paid' on these dates (and each time getting the automated email that my email would be dealt with):
11/10/11; 22/11/11; 1/12/11; 13/12/11; 16/12/11. You can not tell me a human being does not deal with these emails.
These were re-sends of invoices, not the first time they had been sent. Despite a request to be paid in each email all met with silence.

Also, on 16/12/11 I emailed affiliates@betfair.com asking out of total frustration if you actually 'paid sports invoices at all anymore?' No response.

Then in desperation I emailed your Malta Accounts payable dept. I managed to get a helpful response from that department. They told me they are responsible for gaming payments only. No surprise gaming invoices were never the problem. The Malta Accounts Dept kindly emailed the accounts payable dept in the UK on 15/12/11 asking to tell me when the invoices would be paid. No response.

These are the communications I can track down. I believe there were others. In addition, historic emails to your affiliate department's email address have been ignored. Not all of them, but most of them.

You have a huge industry-leading brand that we would love to promote properly but you don't make it easy and your three year reducing commission on sports (although better than the previous insulting 1-year commission prior to August 2011) is still a slap in the face of affiliates. Proper affiliate programs offer lifetime commission and Betdaq now have an excellent program offering life-time commission. They are closing the gap. Why do you think Bet365 is all over affiliate sites like a rash and Betfair is not? It is a false economy to short-change affiliates. It costs you hundreds of thousands of sign-ups a year that you would otherwise have got from them. I think you should either embrace the affiliate marketing concept or dump it. Not some half-hearted effort in the middle. Just my view.

The affiliatepayments@betfair.com inbox is managed by our accounts payable department and you should have been responded to. I’ll be speaking to them to ensure a better service going forward.
