Default PDC Affiliate: Downtime for Migration

    Hi All,

On August 1st 00:00 there will be a two hour downtime period while we migrate all of the data from PDC Affiliate over into our new affiliate program ChipSplit.

Please keep in mind that no data will be lost and updated once in ChipSplit.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

    Regards,

Sorry, Atil, slightly confused here. Is PDCAffiliates going away ? Is ChipSplit now assuming affiliate control over all PDCAffiliate programs ? Can you elaborate here please ?

    TIA

    Hi dhayman,

We are moving PDC Affiliates and its associated brands to a new affiliate program we creating called ChipSlit.

There will be three poker brands: CarbonPoker, Aced Poker and PDC Pker and a new sportsbook called TheSportsbook.

Over the past few years, we have added two poker rooms and a sportsbook and simply needed to create a new affiliate brand to house these new partners.

Everything from PDC Affiliate will be migrated over into ChipSpit.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Many of us affiliates that have been around a number of years have seen this migration stuff all too often and one thing almost ALWAYS rings true and that is that some affiliate lose out....(players, comissions....something)

This "new" affiliate brand...are all originial terms and conbditions still going to be honored, or are any of them changing also?

Will all current affiliate links continue to work, or will they all need to be changed as well?

    Hi Rick,

Thanks for expressing your concern. We have tested and tested over the past few weeks and I can confirm that no data will be lost. Affiliate will not need to change and their links or anything. All you have to do it login and its business as usual.

There will be no changes to the current affiliate commission plans. TheSportsbook.com will have its separate commission plan of:

    $0.00 - $10K: 25%
    $10K - $20K: 30%
    $20K - $30K: 35%
    $30K+: 40%

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks Atil, good to hear we don't have to make site wide changes. What ever you pasted into your response has created a log on popup to appear when entering this thread. Can you fix that for us please?

It was the commission structure for TheSportsbook.com. I just wrote it out and I can't wait until we go live with ChipSplit later tonight!

    Thanks,

You state that the commission structure changes, can you also confirm that no other terms change?

OK, thanks for the update, Atil. As of 8:50 AM EST, Chipsplit is still down, just so you know. Also, are Aced Poker and PDC Poker US-friendly sites ?

    Thanks again.

I just went in to update details on my webmaster site and the links for referring sub-affiliates go to a PDC Affiliates page detailing the name change etc. When will the correct links be available?

Thanks Atil. I was updating a bunch of other things on the site and usually I'm not that quick with the name changes. Will check back in a few days.

Atil, when can we expect new banners for ChipSplit? I need to replace a 125x125 when I update my recruiting links from PDC.
