Please chime in if you're making money with Rival powered casinos

Hi all and thanks for coming in,

I'm very disappointed in Rival Gaming powered casinos but I'm ranking for some of the terms that include Rival so I hate to turn my back on them completely ... anybody got anything positive to say about their bottom line with them and ifso .. .please tell me which casinos?

I guess also chime in if you're unsatisfied with them. Always good to get an idea of how many are happy vs unhappy.

    thanks!
Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.

I get daily signups for Rivals. I would be more thrilled if the deposits were larger, though

Overall, I do ok with Rival Casinos. I do notice that anytime a decent player comes along (i.e., deposits $1k or more within a short period of time), that player is gone just as quickly.

That part - I don't like.... especially since I have players FOR YEARS at Microgaming that started off like that. And I have never seen anything like that at an MGS casino - those players stay playing for at least 3-6 months, typically (there).

Other than that, though.... I make decent $$$ when I add up the different Rival powered casinos I promote.

Meager table scraps here. Really don't do that well with any casinos, but Rival brands are the lowest performers for me. Thanks goodness for my poker sites.

If I answered this same question 6 months ago the answer would be completly different.

I have not done as well with Rivals as I think I should have since the big player banning frenzy many moons ago.

We make $xx,xxx with Pantasia a month. Simonsays and Slotocash had BETTER exposure than this casino group yet made us 1/20 and falling.I hated to do it but we cut back 90% of slotocash and Simon Says coverage because it was just a waste of space.I sent them thousands of players and my position with them is get some of the old players back to playing then we will talk.
We see these complaints for a year now and enough is enough really.
I do not know why pantasia makes us so much but i see no issue with larger deposits from them yet many low numbers with the other rivals.
We have not picked up any new rivals in at least 6-8 months for these reasons.

I am working with Superior Share and 400 affiliates in last few weeks to try to get something going with them ,I will update this thread in 3 months if they make it over the $xxxx monthly income we expect.

This is really funny because I actually came to these forums today looking for information because this is EXACTLY my gripe. We seem to get really good signups at a Rival site but every time a player comes in and deposits $1k or more, they disappear. This is starting to happen very consistenly and I don't want to be paranoid, but something doesn't quite smell right.

Anyway, it is too early, I think for us to pull them or talk bad about them, but if they have representatives who are out there, who may be reading this, please be aware that if this keeps happening, your brands are going to be blacklisted by an awful lot of very important portals.

Also, I have tried contacting this site several times and have not received a response back, this was over two weeks ago.

All that being said, they do convert well, we have read or received hardly any player complaints, and they have paid with no problems every month. We would love for this to be in our imagination because we really love promoting this brand and we would hate to have to pull them.

    400aff/sloto/pantasia/vegasregal/FGP

    doing ok, average this month

player retention is indeed lower than MG but can have several reasons. less games, lots of other casinos to play at, less money to spend etc etc

overall I am happy with Rival, stats are very good too !

no real connection between US players and low deposits for me.

clickthrough rate is better when using tempting banners & reviews - just using textlinks is not enough, done that did not work.

Obviously as a Rival licensee ourselves, this thread is of particular interest to us.

One thing i think that is very relevant is that this should not really be looked at from a Rival wide perspective but rather from an individual Rival licensee perspective. Each licensee manages their operation in a different way and some will outperform others based on how they manage their own operation.

The same can be said for other software providers. I'm pretty sure that performance at one Playtech or MG casino compared to performance at another is vastly different. It's how each group manages their operation and their players at the end of the day.

I have tested it myself and have spoken to many affiliates that send the same traffic to say two different MG casinos and one always outperforms/under-performs the other. Conversions could be better at one while player value is better at another.

    Just my 2 cents..

    Hi Derek

I agree with your comment about traffic working for one operator and not another. I have worked with CryptoLogic, Micrograming and Realtime Gaming products and can attest to this.

What works for one casino/bingo room may not convert as well with the same traffic at another casino/bingo room. I think this is due to various reasons but the two that stand out the most for me is the way each company manages acquisition and retention and the experience each team has in their player promotions.

I'm not sure if a suggestion is being made that the software providers have control on player acquisition or deposits. Having worked on both the Operator and Software side, I would strongly disagree with this suggestion.
    Cheers
    Simone

Rubyroyal, we are not disputing many of the points you brought up in your post, but this thread is to get a general idea of how other affiliates are doing with the Rival brand as a whole.

Yes, each group has different management styles and ways etc...

....but at the same time, back in the end of March/early April time frame the entire stable of Rival Brands experienced a huge player banning frenzy and things have been a bit off since.

Through the discussions I have had with a number of my peers here, it seems that this may be turning back around.

This may be due to a number of factors, summer is over, improved banking facilities, games suite expanding and improving, players better acceptance of the brand in the long term....and many more I may not have mentioned.

All in all a good discussion and I look forward to more input from both the affiliates and the operators...

This is my experience also with Rivals. I think finally I have a good player and they are gone the next month never to return. This has happened at several Rivals so not singling anyone out. Usually the ones that stay are low depositers making it so I couldn't exist on Rivals alone.

    I agree

I would have to agree, I think something is fishy!

Over all, out of all the rival we push 3 of them make good amounts of money then all of a sudden stop. I was meaning to say something a while ago.

The reason this is strange for us is, We had 2 depositors that still claim to be depositing, However no commission is showing. When i asked the affiliate manager concerned, He asked if i thought they were being dodgy. At that stage i said no.

It seems to me, And this is my theory. When a player signs up maybe they have a date to expire and fall off the affiliate that sent them...??

That is what it looks like to me, Because through personal experience from a rival, We had a player sign up under someone elses tag and the Rival casino Affiliate manager moved that player to ours, After we had said they told us they download from our link after claiming for a contest.

So if it is that easy for them to move an affiliate, Of course they can drop off other affiliates, Or keep the affiliate for themselves.

In saying this, MOST rival casinos/affiliate programs are good to deal with. But if i find out my theory is RIGHT!

Well i best not use the words i was going to.....lol
