    Please review New puma site

Hi guys, I have finished the basics of my site which was built in Dream weaver. I hope to get some feedback. I'm also hoping to get some link exchanges going. The site is very much seo oriented and will be updated each day with a new article to increase googles page rank of the site. - www.gamblingwhore.com

    OK - here's my review...

I love the look of the site. Very professional design!
Navigation is simple = user friendly.
Colors - as I said above, very professional. 'Eye catching' is the way I would describe it.
Graphics - the one on the left below the title banner is taking up a lot of space that could be monetized - BUT - I like it and would leave it alone.

My only criticism of the template is the white text on the very dark back ground - it is difficult to read. My eyes feel strained after a few minutes of browsing. (disclaimer - I should wear reading glasses but never seem to take the time to put them on) Having said that - I do love the visual appeal of the site!!

Your reviews are well written with the player in mind. The sentences and paragraphs make sense to the human visitors... unlike many reviews that cater to the SE's to the point where the reader gets no value from them.

Honestly - I wouldn't change a thing! Just keep adding quality content.

BTW - I saw your note in the other thread... what do you need from me? I'm happy to provide it, whatever it is. lol

I'll add a link to my blog today or tomorrow as well.

yay a review ! Thanks terry. Ok regarding poker. Im not doing anything poker wise till next year so I was thinking maybe you could set up a poker free roll ( i think the site is poker free roll monitor ) and give me the html with your affiliate links. Ill post the html to a new page for ya and name it poker free rolls. It give me content and also give you some free advertising.
    Until we meet again.

Hey Chris - I'll pm you later with an idea for a bit of dynamic content that should increase return visits. Something that may benefit both of us.

The site has a great look but honestly almost went blind trying to read your content ,definitely these color selections need to be changed to get people to stay and read something.

    Hi puma,

Too bad you didn't obtain a table-less CCS theme.
This would have really given you a good boast in your SEO rankings.

In addition, I'd also add (especially the mini casino reviews) need a font size increase. It's an eye strain to read.

Players who are in their 20's and 30's can probably read this small font. But it's the mature players that have the disposable income

By using small font, it could force them (40+ age group) to hit the back button.

One last point, I'd also un-center your paragraphs.

By all means center the heading titles, but try using justified paragraphs, honesty they give a much more professional look to a site.

    Cheers

    Dave

I agree with everyone above-great site, but the red/yellow combination is a bit hard on my eyes.

One other tiny nit-pick would be that the "newsletter" hyperlink is spelled "news letter" on the site-might want to take out the space.

Since you are putting in the effort for a newsletter, freerolls, etc, have you thought about adding a forum? It might be a great way to combine all the highlights of the site. You can also bring in some traffic from your other sites.

Actually please we talking about white and yellow on black. I just added the orange and increased the font size and I'm happy with it. I am in my 30's and can read it just fine. Regarding a forum. Never again lol. I hate them and they just have never produced much for me over the years.

I like the colors fine, and the site does look very professional. I'd agree though, that in some spots the font is a bit small. Otherwise it looks great!
