About LinkBacksIn the "What the hell took so long?" story of the week, the subsidiary of disgraced online poker room Full Tilt Poker has announced it will eliminate 180 jobs in Dublin. Pocket Kings made the announcement last Wednesday to employees.
From The Irish Times:
Employees who have been laid off told The Irish Times that they have been offered statutory redundancy, and that the reason cited for the elimination of their jobs was that Pocket King was restructuring as a result of the loss of US and European revenues.

Almost went to work for these guys a year or two ago.

One of the let go employees went on 2+2 and had been answering questions over the past day or two (apparently verified by the mods) but the thread all of a sudden got deleted. Sounds like FT found out and weren't too happy!

What was said in the twoplustwo thread about fulltilt? I am sure many interesting stories to share.
They probably had some contracts that prevented the company from firing people so maybe this was their first chance.
