I do check (very carefully) and the deal breaker for me is:
"Abandonment of Account"
For the life of me... I can not figure out why this clause needs to be included in the T&C's at all.
But... when the clause also includes the casino's right to seize the funds in the player's account - it becomes downright predatory!
Here is one (barely acceptable) example of the term...
If You do not log onto Your Member Account via the internet, using Your "User Name" and "Password" for a period of one (1) year, all balances may be removed from Your account after a notification has been sent to the registered e-mail address.
And another similar clause from the same casino (contradictory? to the one above)...
Dormant accounts. If no transaction has been recorded on Your Member Account for thirty (30) months, XXXXX shall remit the balance to You or, if You cannot be satisfactory located, to the Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta in accordance with the Remote Gaming Regulations.
At least in the above examples they don't immediately steal the players funds.
There are worse examples though, where the monies are forfeited after an account has been inactive for 6 months, etc...

I'm not affiliate so I didn't vote in the poll, but I would think this should be a definite "yes" for affiliates.
You would review the general player offering and the reputation of the brand, checking the player T&C's is just an extension of that.

Most webmasters don't check the player terms.
If you don't like the terms, don't play there is the standard.
Affiliates are not liking that standard anymore. Not now aff programme after aff programme are viewing the affiliate as fair game for unfair rule changes.

That's the impression I get as well. What I don't get is - how can you (you meaing any affiliate) honestly recommend a property to your players without first checking the player terms and conditions?
In my opinion, a large part of being a responsible affiliate webmaster is making sure I am only recommending the safest, most reputable properties available. Checking the T&C's is an important part of my job in that respect.

1) Check Player T&Cs
2) Check player feedback
3) Playtest for a minimum of 3 months - deposits, withdrawals, customer service.
If myself (or one of the crew) don't want to play there - then it does no further.
4) Cut the affiliate deal.
