Posting on your facebook wall

I have a page especially for my site on facebook and have over a 100 people that like it (it's here by the way if anyone wants to get involved http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Bo...51197561576578) and wondered if anyone has looked at the best time of the day to post things on their own wall's to get maximum impact? Been doing mine early and think I might be making an error doing it at that time of day

think about when most people are logged in to Facebook, surely that's the best time, I'm going to guess that at about 6-7 when people get home from work. If you can't find studies on Facebook exactly might be worth looking at ones on Email marketing there are a lot out there and you may find there are some correlations between times that people interact with emails and when they interact with FB

Just spitballing here don't quote me on any of this, probably at my weakest marketing sportsbook (out of the gambling niches), but I'm going to guess that there will be some correlation to match days and times as well.

Don't forget that 6pm for me is different than 6pm for someone in the UK....

Even though when I actually am awake and working is closer match for time zones in SA......lol

I would be interested in this also.....

I sell a bit on eBay and I carefully watch my auctions and what takes place on Sunday afternoons.....

I can see a direct correlation in views, watchers and bids during half time of the early NFL games, and bidding activity increases after the game is over, or earlier if the game ends up being a blow-out.....

This follows the fact that I sell computer components and my target market is predominantly male.

I believe they have 800 million members now, so anytime is good. But if you're looking at the USA, 7-11 pm

It is my understanding that Monday is the biggest online shopping day in general.

Looking at facebook stats to see the times in which people in your region use facebook the most would be your best bet. Other than that consider the times when people are likely to be not as busy say from 5 going forward or around lunch time.

Hey mate, I've setup a few Facebook Pages and Profiles - each targeting to a different geo location - 8am-10pm works best for me in those locations.

Anything outside of those time zones I don't get much action on.

This is a good topic. I've recently committed to building more traffic on my FB page but haven't really focused on "when" to post. I've just been making announcements as they happen or when it suits my schedule. I have a good idea of when my traffic is most active and you can actually see how many followers are currently online, so wouldn't it make sense to post when you see a big number of followers logged on?

I always say Fridays and Saturdays are never good days to post. Sunday night is always great, that when I see most activity from the news feed section.

But I guess work related stuff would be better of at night on weekdays!
