It was just a question of time after the Novoline and Merkur exit in Germany ...

Yup , first signs of this was the Novomatic & Merkur exit in Germany and the recent Quasar/Ovo exit on different markets. We did not promote so much of these thank god but still some revenue will be lost. I know a bunch of guys who did promote these very heavily so itīs very sad for them

I'm really sorry to hear that, ocreditor. That's too bad. It's such a shame to be seeing a lot of programs closing their doors to people and to the possible opportunities of success. They may have been suffering from financial difficulties.

Quasar and OVO are having the same owners, I think.

    Perhaps Supergame too.

And it wouldn't surprise me at all if Novomatic is/was somehow involved.

It's a shame, but I never had any luck promoting them.

Bad character, the almost usual lack of farsightedness and sheer boundless greed are not a good business concept in the long run.

After the leader was also caught red handed lying to honest affiliates in the public, it was already over.

The early warning signals went unheard.

I don't know what they expected (or what they were thinking) when they suddenly decided to eliminate multiple countries from their affiliate program as well.

    Its that easy.

    a) Get legal trouble with some German federal states which will put so much pressure on your business that you know you will have to close in some months.
    b) Fire most of your employees right away to save money.
    c) Scam your affiliates on all their Rev Share commission ASAP to save even more money.
    d) Try to ignore the legal pressure as long as you can and if you are not more able to, close.
    e) Cash out as much as you can in those months with b) and c) and also hope that a lot of the players won't try to cash their funds before you close.

Like myself having around 10 euros on the player account and I am not able to login anymore Do that to 1000 players and you have another 10k saved.

    f) Start over with a new brand and an offshore company

Their affiliate program was not bad at all, especially with their timely timely notifications and attention to payments. However, as casinos, they just missed that cutting edge to take them that extra step further ahead of competition.

At least OVO tried to get the perception of a luxury casino, however Quasar is just another template casino.
