    Default Question about Payments

As far as I know, the minimum payout is 50. The last time my account went over 50 no payment occurred. When I asked about it, Betfair said something like "OK we will send it next month" with no explanation why it wasn't sent automatically. Now again my account is over 50 and again no payment happened automatically. I'm sure I will receive it if I contact Betfair, but my question is this :

Does anyone receive payment WITHOUT requesting it every time?

It seems to me that if I have to request it every time, then I will always be receiving my payments one month late since they will schedule it for the following month.

Looking forward to hearing other affiliate's experiences with this.

    Thanks,
    Leo

We send them an invoice every month. If we don't, they don't pay.

I didn't send them an invoice, I just logged in to my account and requested a payment through the Messages section of their interface, and that worked. And that also makes an official record of your request, could be useful

    Default Interesting!

I thought it was just a mistake that it took 4 months for us to get paid before. Now we have a bit of September income, is it worth just emailing them for this, or do they need an invoice?

I already asked them "what is your payment date?" and got a response

"the payment should be with you each month between the 20th and the 25th

    I have this:

    Your
payment should be with you between the 20th and the 25th of the month
end. If after this point the payment still has not reached you then
    please get in touch.

    Default Betfair Affiliate Payment Process

    Hi,
    <o></o>
Please find below full details on our payment process at Betfair Affiliates:<o></o>
    <o></o>
    Non-Tax Registered Affiliates<o></o>
    <o></o>
If you are non-Tax registered you do not need to submit an invoice to receive payment. We run an automated payment run every month and payments are processed by approximately the 15th of each month. Payments can take between 5-7 days to reach your bank account so please expect payment between the 20-25th of every month.

If you are a new affiliate a payment account will need to be created before we can process your payment which can sometimes cause a delay to your first payment.

    Tax Registered Affiliates

If you are Tax registered you will need to submit an invoice to affiliatepayments@betfair.com so we can process your payment. Please note you must send a separate invoice for your Sports and Gaming (Poker, Casino and Games) earnings and you must include a date and invoice number. Please also separate out your earnings by month and by product.

Invoices are processed every Tuesday and please allow 5-7 days to receive your payment from the Tuesday after you have submitted your invoice.

    Please note:
    • The minimum payment threshold for all payments is 50
    • Payments are made in GBP but will be converted into your local currency by your bank
    • We currently only support Bank Wire transfer but we are looking to offer alternative payment options in the future
    • Please ensure you keep your bank details up to date and you have the correct account number or IBAN number etc

If you have any feedback or recommendations on how we can improve our payment process please e-mail affiliates@betfair.com

    Kind Regards

    The Betfair Affiliate Team

This response is pretty shabby in my opinion! Or is it just designed to take the heat away from the public gaze?

Get in touch with ..... ????????????

Betfair show 5 or 6 staff as private members here and are platinum sponsors yet it takes a public member with no history here to state that fact! Where are the Betfair staff that represent betfair on the GPWA?

Do Betfair not have any interest here any more or what?

I have a week long set of emails back and forth with that email address which has been going the wrong direction for most part of it and now i am still awaiting a response on it from thursday too! I wont post in public my issues as they are not too serious and i am sure that they will be dealt with by the time it is important. I will say, however, that it is not a payment delay issue for me!

I was not going to say anything and just await my contact to return from her holidays, however, i had to respond to that post.

Sorry! But if you cannot respond to people in a correct manner from the email address you specify then i think people are right and just to bring the issue up here.

Sukhdeep's account is now upgraded to reflect being a sponsor program representative for Betfair. The account was registered while I was out sick last week so I didn't have an opportunity to get it upgraded and add the details to the Betfair program review until today.

I'm in the same situation - I was supposed to receive a payment this month but now I've been told I need to wait until November 25. Amongst my complaints : on October 1 I was told would receive the payment around October 20-25, but on October 2 I was told the payment had been processed and I would receive it within 5 working days - I think this second notification was completely wrong, but anyway it's now well beyond Oct. 25 and still no payment. Now when I ask if they can check the status of the payment I'm told to wait until next month, without any explanation of why I didn't receive it this month. Also they said their records showed that I received a payment last month even though I didn't receive a payment and was not even owed a payment last month.

I like Betfair and I want to keep working with them, but it seems there are some problems with the payment system. The representative Ollie wrote above that payments are sent automatically without needing to be requested, but that doesn't seem to be the case. And when payments aren't received, there doesn't seem to be any way for the staff to check what went wrong (or at least they don't explain the reason). Not to mention emails with incorrect information about payment dates ('payment processed and arriving within 5 working days' was clearly completely wrong) and phantom payments in the system that show a payment being sent even though the affiliate wasn't owed anything that month. Not a good combination!

On the other hand, I would like to give MAJOR bonus points to their support - because the replies have been quite long and hand-written, not the typical one-line copy-paste responses I receive from other programs. But it would be better if I never need to contact anybody about payments because they're received automatically and without issues!

Anyway, I will remain patient until November 25 and reserve judgement until then...
