I DO have a couple questions, in the interim...
Why on earth would an affliate program use a .org extension? Right off the top, I see 1000 red flags with the .org. Just seems slithery to me. Of course, it does lend a bit more creedence to the issue The Boy Mitchell brought up over a month ago:
Just seems that this group was unable to obtain the .com for this, but they wanted to have something so close to the affiliates(plural)4U and the singular was taken--this was just the next best thing. Of course, I could be wrong, but regardless--using a .org for this sort of business is clearly not right.
I had a look at some of the casino sites and noticed popular music being played throughout. It may seem like a trivial issue in all this, but it really isn't. It calls into question whether this group is using this music by agreement (i.e., paying royalties to publishing--BMI or ASCAP) or are they just lifting the music? I'm having difficulty believing artists such as Ke$ha or Robbie Williams are in agreement to have their music played on these casino's sites. Just doesn't ring right.
If this is being done spuriously (I have my suspicions), then this brings us back to the issue of intellectual property and of course, ethics. Whether stealing content, graphics or music, it's all the same. Theft is theft.
