I'm quite sure you could make it out of giraffe as they do make it from some game meats, but it's most commonly beef and I've seen springbok biltong...

I just went to a place near the office and bought half kilo of Wagyu Biltong..

$120/kg - Wowsers.. But totally worth it..

Speaking of giraffe meat...someone once brought back some mystery jerky back to the office from Africa which had some mixed animal meats in there..what's that all about? It did not smell very good

I just bought another kilo today. Half a kilo each for me and my other half.. It's all his fault. I totally intended to go jogging at lunch time. Instead I was buying almost $200 worth of Biltong for the skeleton staff in the office.

Oh dear. I really do need to lose a couple kgs before next month.
