Default RESOLVED - Casino33 refuses to pay commission

I am having a problem getting my commission from Casino33. I signed up as a affiliate and Casino Jack and myself had a agreement that I would get 25% commission. I brought him players and now he is refusing to pay me because of a deal that he made with my business partner on a seperate account and now he is saying that my commission has something to do with my partners account and is refusing to pay me my commission.

    *sigh*

After unable to agree how the $500.00 was applied to your forum with your business partner, I agree to what you wanted, arbitration by CMs PAB. i do nto think GPWA has any type of arbitration, but if they offer, I will be willing to agree to it.

I think this case is not good to discuss in public all details, as much information needs to be kept confidential. But you are correct on this point

"he is refusing to pay me because of a deal that he made with my business partner"

This is the issue some companies have with too many people making deals. Again, as a sign we try to do the right thing, I am willing to put this in some type of arbitration to get settled and move forward. I am confused why you would break the PAB process though, again, and now feel this has become a personal attack instead of a business dealing.

If you , as an affiliate, expect the CM PAB, or any other type of organization to be involved you need to allow them to do their thing.

Jack, please tell me why you wont pay me, and why you locked my affiliate account? I did nothing wrong. all I want is my $152.50 that I made for August. why do you want to drag this out.

PAB is for player issues not affiliate problems. I feel this is the correct spot for this issue, I did not want to make this public as I have tried in vain to work this out privately. you did not send me any money I did not make any other deal with you. where is your invoice agreement with my partner, and proof that any money was exchanged. and how I am tied into this. you can PM it to me. or email this proof that any commission I would make would affect my account

I saw recently where Casinomeister posted that affiliates could file a PAB. I would suggest that you try that.

How are you tied to your partner I am very confused myself.

We both know your partner received $500.00. The only confusion is how it was applied as the deal changed many, many times. I did make this mistake of not getting something in writing, and I guess the Skype conversations back and forth have not been clear, and no, I do not record affiliate phone calls.

You stated you would go the CM route. I thought you knew something I did not.

There are 2 of you with one website, both asking me to not talk to the other, and I am stuck in the middle. If you need proof $500.00 was sent and picked up , I will be more then happy to provide but you never asked that before posting this here.

Why would I pay you $500.00 and not want to pay you $152.50?? Had we stuck to the original arrangement, and your partner did not try to do what she did, I think we would all be happy right now.

I also do not understand you opinion of paying affiliates to avoid bad publicity. I belive in paying affiliates, period. You both may threaten me all you like, and because of this I have no choice but to agree to some type of arbitration as I am unable to reason with either of you.

From my point, I made an arrangement with a rep of your company. If she was not allowed to speak for your business, why are you calling her your partner?

Let us agree on a way to settle this and move on.

    Default Note to mods:

NOTE TO MODS: I am open to a resolution of this, but is very unfair for an affiliate to post these things for one reason. the only way to prove myself is to post payment details etc, that has personal information. also, in this case, is an affiliate issue, and is in that forum as well. I'm frustrated so any suggestion I will take to heart....

(I posted this same thing at CM)

    GAMTRAK is right, of course

    http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/..._affiliate_pab

Again Sharon i urge you to read things 100% before making accusations...here is a good example of something you missed.

I hope it's okay to butt in on this on just to say that when ever I do a 'deal' I use an (IO) Insertion order. Affiliates need to document the position/deal and the Affiliate Mangers need it to cover their butts.

I've attached a sample for anyone to use. You just have to switch out the logo and replace content. Hope it helps.

This frustrates me as I agreed to the PAB, and you did this anyways, even after posting in another forum and I begged you to go this route.

I am still stumped why you would say you would take this course, even after I agreed to their judgment? You rigth awya broke the terms of the PAB 4 -5 times.

Not all deals go well, and things happen. If an AM agrees to the type of arbitration and an affiliate does this anyways, I can think of only one reason.

I'm a little upset at this as my reputation personally and business is being challenged. I will not post my side or proof, but this thread will have to be addressed again later. I do not want it to end on this note.

    Not with me it hasn't.

I can understand your distress over this CJ, but anyone that is working with you know how you work. Personally, I wish we had more like ya. Just being honest and not 'brown nosing'. LOL

    Hey all,

I normally would not get involved in these discussions unless I had something at stake or was trying to help out another affiliate.

But in this case, I am not sure what the deals were, but I can say i have seen Casino Jack here for a long time now.. and I trust he is an ethical, honest trustful person.

I just wanted to support him, as i can see he is pulling his hair out on this one.

We all know some programs do not pay and i have had my share of these, but i do agree Casino Jack does want to resolve this in a professional way.

In reading these threads i do agree a PAB was the right course.

Some program reps ignore or refuse to work things out.

While Casino Jack is here doing all he can.....

Give him a bit of slack....

Support from me.... and i also hope the affiliate gets things resolved. I know its hard at times.. but i can say for certain...

I would trust Casino Jack 100 percent.

    Steve

Shar, I don't want to make it sound like i don't appreciate your frustration. I know what that feels like and I can relate. In this case a mediator is a good idea. I feel your situation is unique and not the norm. Therefor unethical behavior may be premature. JMO

I'm working with casino33 and CJ and I have nothing but good things to say. I can say the faith I have in CJ is the main reason I am promoting a new casino so quickly. CJ is very attentive and interacts with my players directly on my forum addressing any issues at all immediately. It doesn't get much better than that. Players paid within 12 hours, I'm paid. Casino works properly. Everyone happy.

Good luck you guys and I hope it works out for all.

    CasinoJack,

I'll go out on a short limb here and say he probably has agreed to go the PAB route and feels bad about posting here now that he has likely heard from a number of members here that he should have been reasonable and worked this out with you before it exploded the way it has.

Although I have not personally entered into any financial arangements with you previously, judeging by the weay you handle yourself in the forums, you reputation among my peers, the feeling I get from you from our telephone conversation, I can't see a situation that would come up that couldn't be worked out with you in a reasonable fashion without all this controversy surrounding it.

You seem like the kind of guy that would go WAY out of his way to come up with a solution that was agreeable to all parties involved.

    Yeah short limb

Was posted before in the other forum, and I asked a couple times publicly do go the proper router, along with privately. Hence the reason I am upset. Keep in mind, at the same time I do feel bad for her....But is just way too complicated...

Max posted at Casinomeisters that he will accept her PAB. He said that normally he would not accept a PAB from her because she has posted about this issue at length at Casinomeisters forums. But because CasinoJack says he's willing to discuss this, Max says he will make an exception.

He also said, that the OP really should read the Pitch-A-Bitch FAQ. That it's made clear there that forum posts normally disqualify PABs.

And he added, that any further posts there from the OP on this issue before the PAB has had time to run it's course, will stop her PAB dead in it's tracks and will probably kill it altogether.

I was surprised myself seeing the postings when a PAB supposedly was requested. I was also surprised that the first post in this thread and in the thread over there.. wasn't a more complete explanation of the situation. When someone is going to post that a casino or affiliate program is not paying, thiefs, crooks, don't play there, don't promote them, etc. They should explain why fully. And not just say they won't pay me. They should explain the reasons given for not being paid, and tell the whole story as they know it. IMO, it's only fair to tell the complete story, and why wouldn't you want to give the reasons for non-payment, etc., unless you were trying to hide certain aspects of the story?

I'm happy this is going through the PAB process. I hope it all works out fairly. I'm sure it will.

I think most of us affiliates who are a family here know whats going on. We have seen Casino Jack be one the most active members and really enjoys spending his time helping affiliates... and may i add socializing with us all.

Not to say the affiliates issue is not important, but its also important to stand up for programs when we think they run with great ethical standards.

And when a nice person such as Casino Jack gets his name tarnished with these threads i just want to show my support.

Again i am sure the issue will be resolved now in a respectable way.

In no way should CJ feel this thread will hurt his reputation.

Hes still 9.9/10 in my books... no ones gets 10 by the way lol

I have learned the hard way, after starting working with Robin, that you don't collect commission when you have a media deal in place. Personally it sounds to me that the problem lies between the two partners. One did a media buy deal, didn't tell the partner or share the funds, and now the one wants commission. CJ and Dana have been more than accomodating with GamTrak.

This is just my opinion. I find these threads quite interesting and a learning experience for someone like myself that is new, and is slowly allowing theirselves to become more involved. Always that "fear" that your gonna screw up AGAIN and face the wrath of the "Boss".

    Thumbs down Full Facts

Obviously this is an issue between Owners/Staff it should never have been brought to GPWA at all. Casino Jack is highly respected and very honest.

It really amuses me how someone comes to GPWA only to complain

And doesn't really contribute to anything else on the site.

Don't worry Casino Jack, This by far has not touched your reputation at all.
