(RESOLVED) Interpartners Retroactively Applies Negative Carryover (RESOLVED)

Summary of Changes: Interpartners applied negative carryover to ALL affiliates. Even if you signed with them under the 'No Negative Carryover' agreement, they have retroactively applied this clause.

Guard Dog's Reflections on the Impact for Affiliates: This is a predatory, retroactive change that Interpartners has committed to. They feel they have done nothing wrong, according to Fotis who says: 'We regret to inform you that there will be no immediate plan of action with regards to the changes in our terms and conditions. '

    Details:

    Predatory:

If Net Casino Revenue is in a negative position that negative amount will NOT be recovered from you and at the beginning of each month any negative position will be set at zero. If Net Casino Revenue for a given payment calculation period is a negative amount, that negative amount will NOT be recovered from you but it will be carried over into the following payment period and shall be included as a deduction when calculating Net Casino Revenue in respect of such period.

See the original AGD Terms Alert.

Thank you for the heads up. This is very disappointing to say the least.

Retroactive dishonesty does not provide much reason to promote their clients anymore.

Can someone from the GPWA please respond to this issue?

InterPartners has clearly violated the GPWA code of conduct, and I think they should be removed from the Platinum sponsors list.

After several weeks of discussion, InterPartners has confirmed that they will NOT honor the original T&Cs where the policy was "no negative carryover".

I have to get them removed now - can't believe they were such a good operation and have dramatically fallen from grace.

Thank you for the update. We modified the AGD listing on their profile page. I am sorry I did not see the change before I left for London. I will find out what communication has taken place.

    Hi Anthony,

    Thanks for updating the listing.

Andy or I can forward the series of emails if you want them, if the various threads I linked to above aren't sufficient for you.

Further, I think this would be a great topic for an upcoming episide of Perspectives Weekly. Can you mention this to JT? Both InterPartners and Ladbrokes are guilty of making unfair retroactive changes. If he can make a standalone video for each one (like he did in the past for other rogue brands), I would be happy to embed them on my sites.

Also worth noting -- InterPartners gave away a MacBook Air at the LAC. They are also going to give away a trip to Seattle, which won't be cheap. This is outrageous and contradictory; either they are having money problems or they aren't. With the pricey things they are giving away lately, the latter seems to be the case. Yet they still refuse to honor the original T&Cs which promised that negative balances would be erased each month....

The company doesn't appear to be doing so well and maybe it is why they are changing the terms.

If that is true, then they should not be spending thousands of $/£/€ on a MacBook Air (given away at the LAC) and an all-expenses paid trip to the SMX Expo in Seattle (to be given away on April 30).

Disappointing to say the last. This seems to be the norm with most affiliate programs nowadays. When they start out they're very eager to have affiliates on board, the moment they're financially strong affiliates are no longer needed. Hence the reason they change their terms as they like.

Well this isn't a case of a company being financially strong and not wanting affiliates anymore.

It's a double edge sword mate if they're struggling they change their terms retroactively not suitable to affiliates. If they're financially strong they change their terms as well, I've seen this many times before, I'm not implying that all affiliate programs do this.

Interpartners should be looking after their affiliates especially if it's experiencing financially difficulties, since they're the ones bringing in additional traffic. This is the way I see it.

I agree cass - I've sent them 2 emails in the last week with no response.

    Time to remove them (painful)

    InterPartners Terms and Conditions Update

This was just mailed out from Inter:

Based on a review which included a survey undertaken earlier this year on better understanding the needs of our affiliates we have reviewed our Terms and Conditions. We would like to announce that as of February 2012 there will no longer be negative carry over applied to affiliate commissions.

These changes will be effective immediately i.e. there will be no negative carry over on commissions earned in February 2012 and previous negative balances will be set to zero. Please review the new Terms and Conditions here.

We pride ourselves on offering an innovative, dynamic affiliate program and value our partnerships. We also understand that you may have questions regarding the new terms and conditions so please do not hesitate to contact us. We will endeavour to respond as soon as possible.

    Best regards,

    InterPartners Affiliate Team

That is correct. Today InterPartners changed their Terms and Conditions removing negative carry-over with immediate effect. The affiliate manager team listened to their affiliates, and this change is a result of hearing what you have to say. I want to thank Chris and Fotis for their efforts.

I am glad this was corrected again. Inter Casino has been a reputable house for many years and the program is one of the oldest in business.
