Review my betting forum

It's not a completely new site, but it doesn't have 1 year yet. So I would like to hear your opinions about it

I changed a lot of things lately, added personal icon for every forum. Still have only around 3000 unique visitors per month and I don't have a lot of sign ups. Only 1 depositor.

I think the problem with those type of forums is the forum format itself. Some forum seekers preferred vbulletin format since it's more organized and simple make postings.

If you can change it, it will sure be a hit.

Thanks for the message. Why do you think vbulletin is more organised ?
I think they are identical, I changed a lot of things to the original phpbb3. Added a few mods, added different icons for every forum.

I think it is well organized. I would try targeting each forum a little better with the banners. Put them in an easier to see place and don't go with generic ones. If it is a basketball forum than have a basketball betting banner there to click on. There just is not a whole lot of enticement to click on a william hill casino banner up at the top or a full tilt poker banner down at the bottom when I am interested in football at the moment.

Thank you, I don't know how to add specific banner for forum for now, but I have other ideas like everytime someone writes for example fulltilt poker that word is automatically linked to fulltilt. Or sticky a topic in the poker forum with promotions and etc...

when you have alike a "pci" section or "handicappers" you will get better sponsors and better conversion, more or less like SBR does..

One thing that I noticed is that most of the time while on the page there were no ads within my view. You have them at the very top (which my mind almost ignores as a banner) and the very bottom, which also gets ignored.

I clicked on tennis scores and felt that was MUCH better. The banner above the scores was tennis related and i was forced to read it.

I'd say positioning + relativity is key.

I can put ads within the content, but Im sure users wont like it. I dont like when I read forum and there is ad after the 1st post or smth like that. I created forums for bonuses instead. Or like I said I I have autolink for the major bookmakers and poker sites

Betfair just agreed to give me free bets for a forum game, tipping contest. I guess that's a good improvement and will have lots of sign ups.

I changed a lot in the forum. I have added affiliate links that are corresponding to the forum, just under the forum in the description as well as adding top bonuses at the top. Do you think now is better ?

I have to agree with this post. Vbulletin will really help for sure. On one of my new sites were going to have Vbulletin...

It also has good seo packs from what i can see and makes things look much more professional..

It costs a bit but well worth it.. Your sign ups will improve dramatically.

I have modified the forum so much that it almost has nothing with how phpbb default looked.
I just added a nice looking menus, something that phpbb didnt have. Do you like how the forum menu is black so it's different from the other menu or its a mistake ?
I also added Custom images for every forum.... And so many other things, I will install quick reply mod tommorow too.

Best of luck with it...good thing is that domain name is a best one ..but competition online for betting forum's is much higher !
