Rock My Wallet shutdown (-r now)

Rock My Wallet have apparently they have shut down:

I got this in an email today, they're website is still online without notification of this development.

Any ideas?

PS. We're still up, and we're still alive.

There's been some discussion of this behind the scenes. There is some speculation that it is not true -- that the person who sent it was asked to leave the company and was bitter enough to try and do damage on the way out. (Please do not post the name of the sender in this PUBLIC thread. I am leaving the name out here intentionally.) The speculation is also based on the fact that there is no news about the closure on the Rock My Wallet website.

So far, it appears all of this information is coming from one source so we're trying to confirm this with someone else at Rock My Wallet.

I got voicemail when I tried calling, and sent an email asking for clarification. I will post the response as soon as I receive one.

We've checked into the speculation that the announcer was simply parting on bitter terms and believe the program has genuinely shut down. We have removed the RMW forum.

While the is no news of the closure on the RMW website and the new affiliate sign-up feature is still functional, we've received a total lack of response for all contact attempts.

Hey Everyone! I just wanted to give you all an update on the Rock My Wallet situation. I got an e-mail while I was out on Thanksgiving break informing me Rock My Wallet IS still in business and IS still promoting Touchstone. The new contact is Daniela (daja@transferpay.com). I had a nice MSN chat with her and she apologies for any confusion. She said they were going through a transitional period and the former Affiliate Manager just stormed out and left. She is very nice and wanting to resolve any issues. Please contact her if you have any questions. Let me know if you do not hear anything from her and I will contact her personally!
