    ROGUE: Centrebet Affiliates

Centrebet Affiliates have implemented several terms with which they can now use to steal earnings from your past players.

These terms are retroactive, as defined, and not good for current affiliates who signed the original terms (We worked together with Centrebet, ensuring that they were affiliate-friendly) OR for new affiliates signing up for the first time.

Please read the following terms alert:

Just read through it, bloody hell centrebet are times that hard that you need to do this.

So disapointed especially with the new minimum player rule.

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for your comments and feedback. Much appreciated.

Centrebet has always valued affiliates to be a big part of its business and online marketing channel. Those of you who have worked with us over the past years can attest to our efforts to be as flexible and fair as possible, and will have seen our commitment to building mutually profitable relationship.

I spoke to Andy today briefly and explained to him the events that lead to these changes in terms. In short, after an extensive audit of the program in May, Centrebet discovered a large amount of fraud and abuse, and needed to immediately enact measures to protect against this, to keep the program sustainable and allow us to better compensate good affiliates. Andy had some good feedback, and he and I agreed that we would arrange a meeting between AGD and Centrebet to discuss the options for adjusting the T&Cs in a way that gives more peace of mind to affiliates.

To be clear, Centrebet had no intention of implementing the negative rollover, or the minimum threshold, on a mass scale in the program at any point. We simply need to find a solution to a problem that is plaguing many programs in the industry at the moment. After speaking with Andy, I’m confident that we can reach a solution that protects us against abuse while leaving CB affiliates with peace of mind.

We understand the sentiments that these changes may cause in affiliates who do not know us well. However, we invite you to look closer in the coming months at all we are doing to improve this program, and hope you will consider this before passing final judgment.

In the meantime, I invite you all to speak to myself, Lee-Ann Johnstone, and Sheldon Chapman personally to discuss your feedback, as well as any concerns or questions you might have.

We will be working with Louis and Centrebet next week to find an adequate solution to the terms change. Louis seems quite willing to work towards an equitable solution.

    Thank you for that, Louis.

So to allow you to better compensate good affiliates you reserve the right to screw the not such good affiliates.

Robin hood in reverse! Rob the poor to pay the rich!

I refer to the minimum player referrals term mainly.

I hope and expect to see a reasonable solution which i am sure will be forthcoming after your meetings with AGD.

I suppose it was all meant in good faith but all the same.

    T&C's

    Hi Everyone,

As Louis stated in his previous post, and that I wish to re-iterate here - as I was not able to yesterday in person - due to being in Australia at present.

It is definitely not our intention to alienate any of our existing or new affiliate relationships, we are simply seeking ways to prevent further programme abuse - which then negatively impacts our ability to work more closely with existing partners As mentioned, we will be reviewing everyone's comments and feedback to find the right solutions in the next week.

In the meantime I'd like to invite anyone who wishes to raise any particular points of concern that have not yet been mentioned to contact me directly, so that I can ensure we are hearing and reviewing your suggestions and concerns to effectively address them.

Thank you for bringing your throughts and concerns to the table, I appreciate your feedback and hope to post suitable resolutions in due course.

As much as i appreciate your proactive approach, i do not see any reason why people cannot mention their concerns here.

So long as there is no flaming and abuse i think mentioning any issues here is a good thing for all, it will show us all the issues and who does not like what and for what reason. This will surely give you a better insight in how to effectively address the isssues.

There may not be any further issues other than those already mentioned which is good.

My question to you is why did you decide that the solution to stop abuse was to add terms that would allow you to close accounts of the smaller affiliates that bring you few players? Surely the abusers would be sending many players not just a handfull?

I suggest to you that the main changes in terms has nothing to do with abuse and fraud directly! I suggest that it is just an excercise to cover the losses to fraud by indirect means!

I do not expect a direct answer to my points here, however, i hope that my points will be considered in your imminent discussions regarding the issues. If that is the case then my post was worthwhile.

I would like to add that i am not anti you our any of your programs and not trying to cause you any trouble, i just like to see things in the open when they concern many people! This is a good place to discuss these issues too, as we are all pretty professional and dignified here. AGD is probably a better place, however, i live here in the main, hence my posts here.

This issue here is that whilever those terms are in there they can be used at a later date no matter the promises.

It also shows intent, i also find it a hard strecth to put this down to fraud, it is a way to cut costs and the little guy is the one that suffers.

    Hopefully will be put right.

We agree 100 percent that this term (as written) will do nothing to alleviate fraud, but can more easily lead to termination abuse by the program. This is why we hope that during next weeks discussions we can find a way for Centrebet to avoid fraud with a term that is friendly towards affiliates.

As mentioned by an affiliate at AGD, quotas are not just bad for affiliates - but for the industry as well. Quotas will force affiliates to stop promotion of your properties before they lose even more money. If everyone had quotas - we could only afford to promote 3-4 casinos at a time and new affiliates... Well there wouldn't be any.

The Centrebet affiliate team admits fully that the changes made to the T&Cs were poorly worded and in their current state, could be abused.

We thank all those who've come forward with constructive feedback and we hope to have an affiliate resolution to the issue very soon, by route of our collaboration with AGD.

I encourage anyone who has proposals on how to deal with the abuses CB has been plagued with over the last year (discussed in further detail on AGD) to come forward with their feedback, as it will be taken very seriously into account.

    Thanks again everyone.

I'm not going to really cut loose in hopes that The Dog can bark some sense into them but rest assured I'll be ready to add them to the blacklisted casinos pages on my sites if they do anything retro.

    Still angry beyond words

Hi to all! All problems have now been rectified. Thank you to the guys at Centrebet who have helped us through these problems. Our website has only supported centrebet from the beginning and this relationship will continue forwards. It was a close call this month as we only have a few days left to make hosting payments otherwise all of our websites will be deleted from our hosters servers so it has been a close call. Clear communication is king and hopefully we can all learn from this one on both sides!

    Payments, Queries, Terms changes

    Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to post up a few points here with regards to the recent changes we implemented on our program.

We have indeed changed our payment thresholds, this was notified to all our affiliates via - a direct e-mail in our monthly newsletter, in the message of the day section (ahead of implementation and again in the newsletter posting) within the network which is on view on the home page login whenever you log into your affiliate account. We have also posted on our affiliate website.

Please be advised, that since we amended the Centrebet T&C's (in July) - we have been working closely with Andy at Affiliate Guard Dog on the basis of your feedback and concerns - to ensure that we are meeting everyone's objectives and keeping in line with industry standard. I hope to post more about this soon - once we have the nuts and bolts of the update completed.

If anyone has any problems or concerns about their account, or if there is something urgent that we need to respond to , I invite you to also contact both of us (Sheldon and Myself) directly so that we can attend to your request together, as we don't always get a chance to review this forum daily.

We will always respond to your requests as soon as possible.
    Many thanks
    Lee-Ann

Keeping your affiliate account active within the program: we reserve the right to de-activate any affiliate account that has not delivered more than 5 new depositing accounts over any 3 month period. Governing Please note : This clause does not mean that your affiliate account will be closed if the minimum new depositing account requirements are not met, we merely reserve the right to cancel affiliate partnerships that may not deliver the required volume of business we require to continue providing an effective account management service.

ok now, I'm know I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree, when it comes to all these terms and condtions.

but....I am right now trying to build myself up the affiliate ladder.

so my question is to all other affiliates, I have been promoting Centrebet bet, I'm lucky if I have 3 to 5 active players, with this term I might as well

just pull them off my site, and not promote them at all correct?

It is the same T&C that 888 and platinumaffiliates has : never a good deal and they CAN use it if they want to.

For all it matters I gave up trust in this group, they must be short on cash as their managent is seeking ways to screw affiliates. Their reputation may take a serious hit if members and adding them to the rogue pages. I think I will add them next to 888 and their ugly sitsters.

    Updated T&C's

    Hi Everyone,

For those of you who have not been following all the multiple threads (across various forums) with regards to our T&C's - I wanted to just quickly post an update on what has transpired since so that everyone is in the loop.

We have taken on board all your comments, concerns and collated this feedback on the various forums/ direct messages to implement amenable changes where ever possible.

We have been working for the past month in conjunction with Andy over at AGD - who (with his team - Thank you Andy ) have provided some very valuable feedback , and suitable alternative suggestions - with regards to re-wording our T&C's so that we can ensure we are meeting your needs, and providing the protection we require from the abuse that our program has unfortunately suffered over the past 2 years.

I'd like to stress - we have always been 100% comitted to working with all our affiliate partners, we are here to help and service you - we do not want to hinder your marketing efforts in any way - as this would be counter productive not only to your business but to ours as well. (After all, we can't pay comission if we aren't making money and we can't make money without your help and support)

We have now reached a conclusion on all the main points that raised queries from the affiliate community (those that are membered to our program, and also from those that aren't)

In short, we have spent the past couple of weeks re-writing a new anti - fraud policy that will provide us with the protection we feel is necessary to have within the terms and conditions of our affiliate program, and we have also implemented a brand new high roller policy that is both fair and in line with what we think is good industry practice, as opposed to putting retroactive minimum limitations in place - which is what other programs have done to date. (and what we admittedly had followed as assuming this to be the norm)

So - I'm very pleased to announce that we have revised our program terms and conditions entirely again, in line with your feedback, and Andy's (team) - and have re-launched our confirmed program terms again today.

I would like to encourage you to take a closer look at our new improved terms, we are quite pleased with the result and are happy to be leading the way in terms of handling high roller policies that will enable us to continue offering a no negative roll over policy across all our products.

Please feel free to view our new terms and conditions which is updated on on our affiliate website
    http://www.centrebetaffiliates.com/terms.html

We look forward to working together to build a better program, and continue to service your needs.

    Regards
    Lee-Ann Johnstone
