Roxy Commission Change Update

Firstly thank you to everyone for your feedback, I appreciate it!

For the last 4 hours I have been in meetings with our directors and have put forward all your comments. I have also had several discussions with BigBCasinos in regards to the recent commission changes etc. - thank you very much Brian, you have been a HUGE help!

Roxy Affiliates DOES value all affiliate feedback and we will admit to making this change without enough feedback from our affiliates - a mistake that will not happen again.

We are changing the commission structure to work as follows:

The bottom tier will be 25%. In order to move up a tier you will need to have sent at least 1 new player in the given month in addition to the rev share levels. Should you refer 0 players in a month you will receive 25% rev share regardless of the comm scales.

For example; should your commissionable earnings be $20,000 and you HAVE NOT brought in at least 1 new player, you will receive 25% commission. If you HAVE brought in at least 1 new player you will receive 30% etc etc.

The above rev share scale does not apply to any exclusive deals we have made with individual webmasters.

I think there are a good number of happier affiliates out there.

More to the point though I think that a webmaster on an upper tier will have a good working relationship with the program and that the drop to 25% may NOT be applied in every case. This implies talking to each other, not a bad thing.

After meeting with a number of programs to discuss these changes, it is apparent that the "legacy base" of players is a big cause of the "problem". There are apparently webmasters who have not sent Roxy (same said by the other programs) a single visitor in almost a year and yet continue to receive 35% for players referred more than a year back. Many of these webmasters may not even be in the business any more. It is they who will be worst affected here.

Obviously the concept here is partnership and while you contribute in sending valuable traffic to Roxy, they are going to pay for that traffic with competitive percentages. Stop sending them traffic and of course it is far more difficult to fight the fight.

I must say though Garth that it may have paid you to define the kind of support you need to keep paying top rates differently. If a webmaster sends you 500 visitors and 50 downloads but none play, then at some stage who is going to growl at who? Please be sure to keep your eye on the conversions because with this formula, you have a pretty big role to play in whether the affiliate gets paid top rates or not. If they are not sending any visitors, that focus of course no longer comes into play

I look forward to your forum though. It's nice to talk to each other, make announcements, run polls and so forth. It can also be used as a sounding board to get feedback..........

Yep Brian, 100% agree.

If it is clearly a conversion problem the webmaster cannot be held accountable for that and any agreements made will be upheld - I am not evil

Guys thanks again and I am sorry for this inconvenience and added aggravation that has been caused. I will make it up to those that I see at the various remaining conferences this year and also launch some cool competitions in July.

Everybody knows that casinos, both on land and online, make most of their money on slots. The casinos in Vegas make enough just from the quarter machines to pay all their bills. As it stands now, Roxy Palace is not the place to send high rollers.

Although I have extremely good playthrough from my slots players at Roxy, I have to agree with Randy and ask if it wouldn't pay to up the coinages Garth?

I am a slots player. I love the new games and sometimes also have a go at the old 2 coins favorites too. It may seem mindless to many but I think it's the sense of anticipation that lets me pull one last time AND brings me back for more.

About 80% of my traffic is slots based and boy are they loyal! I send them where I reckon they get looked after and Roxy is included in this statement.

If they have bigger bankrolls than I do though, it would be nice if you could accomodate the bigger player
