Russ Hamilton and 31 others are fingered by KGC in UB cheating scandal

Breaking news today on the UltimateBet cheating scandal:

The Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC) confirmed today through the release of an 11-page document that cheating occurred at online poker room UltimateBet and that the point man for the incident -- former World Series of Poker Main Event champion Russ Hamilton -- did not act alone.

In the release, the KGC named the accounts used to cheat UB players out of their bankrolls and stated that Hamilton was "the individual who ultimately bears responsibility" for that cheating and that he had 31 accomplices, who were not named in the report. But the 117 usernames used in the incident are listed in the report.

The last 2 paragraphs on page 8 indicate that the info has been turned over to law enforcement. They have provided officials with 31 names....

I think it's unlikely that anyone will face charges but we can always hope!

And in knowing all this went on, Casino City still links to UB. And when you click a UB link, there is no warning or information regarding the possible (or eminent) danger playing there.

Its really unfortunate that from time to time we would see this kind of cheating scandals particularly in the poker gaming. Not to mention that we see big names involved on it.
