    Default Which SEO tools?

    Hi

Having relied mainly on ppc and using seo agencies for the last 15 years I now want to have a go at seo myself, which paid online tools do I need from this list, do I need them all or will one suffice, are there any other must haves?

There is no must have tool. You may need some of them to accomplish certain tasks.
The important part is to know what to do, choosing a tool for that should be easy.

Check them out and see which one suits your needs best.
I used to use Screaming frog, gives tons of information about your site.

There’s no doubt that Screaming Frog is a fantastic application to use. You need to work out which tools suit your needs best and use them to your advantage Wishing you much luck and success in your endeavours.

I like mangools, their serpwatcher and kwfinder are excellent and their siteprofiler although new seems to be pretty good.

Semrush is also good, but you can get a good few searches without paying

if you are just starting out dont go overboard. Regardless you cannot master them all at the same time.
I would start with Ahrefs for backlink reports. No need to also have majestic.
then semrush is useful for checking your own and competitors keywords and rankings. But def dont go overboard, ranking takes times so try to lower your fixed cost as much as possible. Spending is easy making is a bit harder!

    Good luck!

I would definitely get AHREFs on for back linking and keyword research. They have good online tutorials too.

    Ahrefs is a must have.
And Screaming frog if your site is bigger than 100 pages.

They are all inaccurate.. screaming frog is good for analysis, ahrefs is as good as it gets but still not perfect and very inaccurate

If you're going to just get one of them, go with Ahrefs. It's by far the best one out there. Not the cheapest, but really good. The team behind it is awesome as well.

You need to understand for what purposes you need these tools. It makes no sense to take them all and waste the budget. You can get by with only Ahrefs if you clearly understand your tasks.

    Hello,

My favourite is Semrush for years.

They provide you with in-depth rankings and insights on your ranking.

Moz is also an industry-standard for sure.

I am using both of the above on my site

    Cheers
