Serbian government asking from ISP's to block online gambling websites

Here is article from the press (in Serbian unfortunately).

I'll try to translate this in few sentences. Serbian authorities are asking from Internet service providers to block access to 70 online gambling sites (including Bet365, Bwin, Bet-at-home, WilliamHill,...). They are also threatening that they will ask for international help to punish those sites if they continue to accept Serbian citizens. There is new law in Serbia that forbids online gambling with companies that do not have Serbian license.

PS: From what I know, at the moment they did not give any license for online gambling, so only Serbian lottery can organize online gambling.

Not many websites are available in Serbian or Croatian languages to begin with.

I have only one query to the Serbian govt. Have they banned Land based Gambling? If yes, then it is fine with me. If not, then why the double standard?

Europe is becoming very hard to deal with. You have 52 different countries with different gambling laws that operators have to follow. They should have done one centralized law at least for the EU member states.
