Sexton inducted into Poker Hall of Fame

Mike Sexton was the only member of the nine-person ballot to receive enough votes from the 15 living members of the Poker Hall of Fame and a 15-person media panel.

The ballot was stacked, with poker superstars Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Scotty Nguyen, Erik Seidel, Barry Greenstein and Dan Harrington amongst those nominated.

I had a chance to speak with Mike Sexton about making it into the Hall of Fame. He told me a very funny story about how Scotty Nguyen played a big part in helping him break through as a TV announcer for the WPT.
