About LinkBacksWe have not yet set an exact date and time, but we will soon be performing an upgrade from vBulletin 4.0.7 to vBulletin 4.1.2.
This is a minor upgrade, but the forums will not be available for an estimated two hours during the migration process. I will post the planned date and time of the migration once it has been determined.
The migration could happen as early as this weekend.
As we continue to chip away at remaining issues from the major migration we performed a month ago when switching from vBulletin 3.7 to vBulletin 4.0.7, we've decided it makes the most sense to be addressing the remaining issues on the more recent vBulletin point release.

Ok, got it. The minor upgrade will be for the better of this forum so i have no problem with that, just notify us of when the migration process will be.

vB 4.1.2 has Facebook connect available as well as a mobile style with auto-detect for smart phones, droid, iPhone etc. Will the GPWA incorporate these new features?

We have scheduled the upgrade for tomorrow morning (Friday) February 25, 2011 at 8am EST. We should be back up within a couple hours of the time we start the upgrade process.

We will not be deploying those new features at the time we perform the upgrade tomorrow morning. But we do plan to roll out new features on a regular basis as we test and verify their proper operation on the forum.

Just a short note to say that the migration to vBulletin 4.1.2 was completed this morning as planned. The migration took about 90 minutes and we were back up and running by 9:30am EST this morning.
