Default Shouldn't the Pantasia Affiliates Forum be closed due to their inaction?

This forum is supposed to be for "exchange between the affiliate management group of Pantasia Affiliates and GPWA private members." I went through all the threads and didn't find a single response from Pantasia, including my question about disapperance of a Transaction in Process without doing any payment. I think the GPWA admin should close this forum due to inactions. We don't need any forum where one side doesn't bother to take up any communication with the forum members.

Yes the forum is for communication.

I will contact Pantasia Affiliates and relay that to them.

I also have a hard time hearing back from them by mail.

My reasoning: If it takes ages to get a new affiliate account approved, what does that tell about the player support?

Did you manage to contact them? I haven't heard a word from them. It is not that they owe me a lot of money, but I don't want to promote someone who is this unreliable. They can do the same to players.

And I repeat. If they don't care to use this forum for communication, it should be shut down.

The funny thing is that Pantasia is Rival-Direct. They used to have an affiliate manager- but I haven't heard from one in a very long time.

That is, I think, the main problem. They don't have anybody to take care of any enquiries made through emails or forums. It is like a robot executing the job which works as long as there are no anomalies. I am sure this affects the customer support also. I don't think we can accept this situation.

James is still with Pantasia , nto sure if he is the only one that works with them or not.Considering we do $xx,xxx a month with them it does take days for us to get a reply at times too.As for payments I do trust them that way even though they are usually the last rival casino to pay each month.

I think this raises a question about why some groups sponsor their placement on the GPWA

Are some groups simply paying the advertisement fees so they can be seen as a trustworthy outfit by us affiliates? (i.e so we see it as an endorsement by gpwa)

I still receive regular emails from groups that "imply" (without stating it) that because they pay to feature here, that they are therefore accredited/regulated/approved by the GPWA.

But, would I be right in thinking that this is not the case?

The point is, I still get confused about what the 'sponsorship' really means to me as an affiliate. If I go to the gpwa homepage, I see the 'sponsors' list on the left hand side, but no obvious information about what this sponsorship actually means...

This is especially true if there are sponsors here that are not using the boards to communicate with affiliates

'Sponsorship' means nothing beyond advertisement, has nothing to do with their quality in any sense. It is just a source of revenue to run the forum. Michael has made that quite clear in an earlier thread, and I have no problem with that. I wouldn't stop reading the New York Times because of any trash ad unless that ad is totally repulsive. That's how I look at these 'ads' on the GPWA site.

But it is for me a different matter if any of them opens a forum and then just ignores all enquiries from the forum memebers. In such a case I would prefer that the GPWA admin closes such a forum.

    Thanks for clearing that up.

If that's the case, though, then having their own forum on the site must simply be part of the advertisement fee. So, my conclusion is that if they paid for the forum space, they can choose whether to use it or not

Using your analogy, if I advertise my company on the New York Times and put up my phone number on that ad, then it's up to me if I want to answer the phone or not

I agree it is disappointing, which is why I asked the question. I've used the private messaging here a few times to try to work with new programs, but they never responded. Likewise, I see boards where no AM seems to be present, which is also disappointing, but if them being here is just advertising, like you say, then I can now be more understanding about the lack of responsiveness

That said, it might be worth the gpwa admin reminding the advertisers about the benefits of partaking on their forum and answering private messages

There is one particular advertiser here that repeatedly failed to get back in touch with me about working together, that I'm pretty sure have missed out on $xxx, xxx in player deposits (as a result of me having no option but to work with a different group instead)

A program that has a forum at GPWA has an obligation to respond to affiliates.

Please PM me and let me know of any other non-responsive sponsors programs.

    That's good to hear Anthony,

Where can I find out information like this on the gpwa site? Is there a section about what obligations there are, what sponsorship means to me as an affiliate etc.?

    Cheers

Thanks, so they are required to respond to complaints, but not other enquiries, like if we contact them with regard to working with them (if I'm reading it correctly). Your earlier post made it sound like they were obliged to respond to affiliates in general, rather than just to complaints

(sorry Nandakishore, going a bit off-topic from your original post)

They do have an obligation to respond on the forum, how they individually respond to emails or PMs is reflective on the type of affiliate manager they are. We obviously can't do the job for them.

However if you made a post in their forum at GPWA and were ignored we would follow up with that program to encourage them to respond to their affiliates needs.

If you have programs that are non responsive, be it email, post, PM or anything I would be more than happy to help you out.

Thanks Anthony, I'll get in contact next time I get a non-responsiveness problem, cheers

    So, anyway.....

....Having derailed the thread for a few posts (sorry!), has there been any progress on Nandakishore's original question here?

It's been 7 days and counting....

    Hi Everyone,

I apologize for not responding. I did not receive any notifications regarding these threads because the contact information associated with the previous Pantasia contact did not belong to me. I will look through the threads and post my response.

I do not have any outstanding emails so if someone has not received a response from me via email please let me know.

    Cheers,
    James
