Sponsor Categorizing

I was just browsing the GPWA website and looking for a description of what makes an affiliate program either Platinum, Silver, Gold, etc... How do these programs get categorized? What's the difference between say, a Platinum program and bronze program?

Sponsorship level is based on the amount of financial support an affiliate program provides to support the GPWA, and thus represents the importance to the program of having a strong relationship with the GPWA and with its members. It is not based on the opinion of the GPWA members about the quality of a program.

We've been very careful to identify those affiliate programs who support the GPWA as sponsors, and not as something misleading like certified programs implying something that is not the case.
