Nice site, love the layout. It took a lilltle while for the images on the homepage to load, but other than that Great Work!!

Site looks great... Really like the color scheme and the layout. Judging by your homepage title, it looks like SEO is an afterthought - spend some time getting that optimized a bit more before you launch.
Just a word of warning... You have a commercial site and you are using things like the ESPN feeds and copyright pictures you are at risk of legal troubles. I'd make sure you have permission to use anything from a 3rd party. Somethings specify they are free for non-commercial uses - which does not apply to your site.

I like your idea of putting a Poll Section on your index as it gives an interaction between your sites and the visitors. The navigation is good and well organized. This is such a great piece for a newbie like you. nice...
