    Default Sportsbooks that accept Australians?

The only one we really could have recommended in the past was Commission.bz / PartnerEarnings brands. However, earlier this month, they pulled the plug on Australian customers.

So now we are left without any reasonable sportsbooks to offer to AU visitors. There are of course crypto only sportsbooks like Nitrogen Sports, but we would prefer to offer a room that has other deposit and withdrawal options besides cryptos. Conversions are terrible at crypto-only sites (like 10% or even single digit percentages).

    Anyone have any recommendations?

I guess you are asking for affiliate programs of decent AU books:
Unibet has .com.au site and creatives and at least they do not steal.

Sportsbet and Crownbet are stronger AU brands, however I can not recommend their affiliate programs because there sit idiots and in the end they both stole from me. Communication is horrible and non existent. However they convert better than Unibet.

I am surprised that Unibet is in the AU market still. I would have thought they pulled out... Are you certain they still accept Aussies?

Yes, I still see the regs from there. At Unibet Australia is my top 4 country in regs and top5 in revenue. They have AU/NZ updated creatives. They have AU domain, so in a way they are official I guess.

With Unibet a lot of work on geo target is needed. they have .com.au, co.uk, .de, .it, .ee, .ie and few other countries aside. You can not promote unibet.com there [ you can, but probably for free ]. Also they override geoblock at some other countries (I will not name them). I think this is why unibet is not so popular by affiliates and is underrated.

Also do not trust their geo-creatives. They are not complete and you can not check whether they update it or not. Soon their non https old links will stop working. It is a constant work with them, because they do mostly hard forks not soft forks and they do not inform about them But IMO is worth of the effort.

Thanks again for all the information Sherlock.

Do you know if Unibet is allowing Aussies to play poker?

I tried to check detailed stats, but I do not see how to filter in netrefer country and type of gambling (like poker).

    ... Gooner said
It's illegal for Australians to play short duration games of chance according to Australian Law.
While this is not enforced on overseas sites, any site set-up and licensed in Australia has to follow those rules.

Unibet.com.au is licensed and regulated by Australia's Northern Territory Government
... so that means no online poker, and no online casino offers, and no in-play sports betting either (may allow HT bets?).
I also recall bettingpartners going to AU, but I guess you already promote Ignition.

Ladbrokes and Bet365 are active in Australia and have .com.au sites ... for Sports betting only.

Betting Partners did go into the AU. However, they only went in with Ignition Casino. Ignition offers poker and casino. If they offered sports betting, we would be set, but alas, they do not.

It looks like we might get stuck having only small rooms, or crypto only rooms to promote there because what we really need is a poker room and a sportsbook combination given our audience.

Unibet being only sportsbook is kinda meh. Besides, Unibet never answers our emails so we do not really have any desire to promote them.

Ladbrokes never converted to me in AU, but with Ladbrokes no one knows. I currently have a tracking issue with the stupid software. I always write to my AM, he does not respond, I write second email after that, whether he gets my emails, he answers yes. So I again describe the problem and get no response and so on. Unibet on the other hand I get always response. Did you try ryan point henderson at kindredgroup point com ?

AU becoming real **** sadly. I just think the cryptomarket has to raise awareness, it will sadly take few years, dark ages now. The more they block and ban, the better. We need really desperate gamblers so they will be forced to go into BTC. The problem is that once people start with BTC, they go gambling at cryptoexchanges calling it investing. It is hard to beat sinless gambling.

The recent law changes meant majority of casino/poker groups pulled out (there might be one or two non licenced ones left). Only sportsbooks with an aussie licence can operate in and take Australian players. Everything else is illegal. So you won't find any bookies legally operating in Australia who take aussie poker players.

Ive mentioned before, Betfair's affiliate backend says "Australian Affiliate Program" as of last week. Idk if it's a mistake or what's going on, but it's been like that since then.

    No they don't, sir.

Wish they did, their player avatars remind me of the Full Tilt Poker glory days.

Offshore sites are fine. Our visitors don't care if the sites are "regulated" by the local government. They just want a place to play poker mostly and perhaps make the occasional bet.

Yet another company who never answers emails. Ever. Used to have 2 affiliate managers on Skype for easy access and now, for well over a year, not a single response from that ****** company. Bah.

Ignition, unlike Bovada, has no sports book.

As Renee said, you almost certainly won't find gaming products crossed with sportsbooks in AU anymore. If anyone is looking to promote licensed sportsbooks (no poker), we're running affiliate programmes for BlueBet, PointsBet & SportChamps.

Understood. I'm looking for a place that offers sportsbook and poker ideally.

However, if push comes to shove, I would promote a sportsbook only room. But not knowing anything about sportsbook only sites that operate in the AU, I was hoping someone could guide me to one that resonates with, and thus converts well, with Aussies.

You can also try William Hill. They operate an AUS affiliate program there, different than the .com
