Squidoo Lens?

I had good experience with Squidoo at first, but I lost faith in it after it banned one of my very good posts on Michael Jackson (MY GOD).

But there are still some Squidoo Lenses.

Both Squidoo and Hubpages I find are great for ranking well within the search engines and thats why I use them. I just wish that I could use them with my gambling websites. I really don't understand why so many places like Squidoo, Hubpages even Google PPC are so anti-gambling and yet they all accept articles on Forex and all of the different Forex software that is available. I don't care what anyone says Forex is a gamble as well.

But while Forex might seem like gambling and it might seem like the movmeents are generated by RNGs but they're not. It has the veneer of respectability - and is not licensed in Curacao!

Of course the main reason why Forex and junk bonds and the other dodgy financial instruments are embraced within the US is the the companies that offer these facilities usually are US registered, US licensed and US taxed !

That's right US paid tax = US legitimate activity.

Follow the money and you'll understand government policy.

Squidoo lens is effective for some sites but as mentioned here not allowed in gambling.
My sports and horse racing sites have a lens that once outranked the actual domain... not the case anymore but you can see how much google actually looks at squidoo

Squidoo Lens has many good features but now-a-days us of this tool in casino promotion is becoming more and more difficult.

I tried to make one a few days ago, but they denied it due to the fact that it promotes "casino or gambling". I think their policies must have changed, because they did not allow me to make one.

You are right, same here... when I tried to make couple of lenses they denied my lenses too as they dont promote gambling ;(

All of the user-generated lenses are linked to tag pages, which are in turn linked back to all the lenses that use the same tag. Whenever a user creates a Squidoo lens, tags must also be created for each lens.This is how automatic links are generated for the lens you create in Squidoo.

I think squidoo is now commonly used for linkbuilding within the SEO community. It is free, gets ranked well and google loves all this web 2.0 stuff with 'likes' and links to 'facebook' & twitter.

Although you can't write about gambling directly, that doesn't mean you can't put links to a gambling site within a lens. You have to be more clever now, write a great lens and use squidoos internal link building and promotional tools like commenting on other lenses or writing a post in the squidoo forum. If you create a great lens - you can create great value links from it. All links in squidoo are do follow ones.

How about that for an idea.

I has a few a couple years back. They never did anything or me. I haven't even looked at them in quite some time as I think?? they were banned because of gambling.

So to answer the original question... Squidoo Lenses are of no use to us gambling promoters as we cannot create a page

I've tried to create lenses few weeks ago but the policies has changed and now its impossible to create any :/
