stats stopped working completely

Your stats have been screwed up for years, but previously at least they were partially functional...but now....nope!

As soon as an affiliate logs in to look at stats it starts returning errors for not picking the correct report fields....

....ummmm shouldn't an affiliate be logged in BEFORE picking which report fields they want to see?

....and then when they DO pick the reporting criteria they want they are presented with this error:
'date' was not found in the haystack

I just don't have the time needed to look through your "haystack" and right now I am not evcen sure I would WANT the needles that might be found.....

Could you PLEASE hire a professional farmer to fix the haystack so that affiliates can actually run reports without having to lose the farm??

Before you ask,

I ran a report for
"Time Period" This Month
"Display by" Date


Geez, that is one of the most basic reports an affiliate can run.....

Many of us have been say for YEARS, just throw the entire interface away and turn the standard Playtech stuff back on because THEY knew how to write stats programs more than 10 YEARS ago.....

It appears backing up, and starting over allows you to pick the date again (I guess it does exist in that pile of hay) but running it the second time only slows the list of dates that exist within the time frame picked (I already suspected that there were 23 days in the month up until the 23rd) but there are no STATS shown.....

I have this problem too. When i try to see my stats i see this:

TOPERIOD_IS_REQUIRED

Yes Billyboy, that is the error you see when you log in, even though you have not been given the oportunity to choose a date range yet....

You can then change the range to "Today" "This Month" or whatever other date you want and run the report so you can see additional errors....unless your stats data happens to be in a more organized haystack.

Same here, and I see 500 Error sometimes. I guess It will be fixed tomorrow, but was the tracking accurate during this system failure? That is the question.

To EP Reps: You have a very untalented coders, I think they don't know how to write a good code, please think about it! Since the launch of the new stats system you have and had too much problems, just imagine how many affiliates you have lost because of it.

Maybe that is what they want ....... bad tracking codes for us .... any other program would have fixed that in no time.

Sorry that I am only posting now. We were out of the office the last 2 days and I wanted to be sure that all was working again before I posted. I have been speaking with our technical team all day to see what the issue was over the last few days. I have been told that there was an issue with the cache servers and that the problem has been fixed. All those who posted, your accounts have been checked individually and all seems to be in order. Please hire some farmers that actually KNOW how to manipulate data in the "haystack"....and understand the importance of testing before rolling out changes to queries....

....or....just throw the system out and switch back to the original Playtech Stats.....

....doesn't Playtech keep the Playtech Stats on THEIR servers and any third party custom programming runs on different servers and queries the Playtech databases directly?

Please note, if you take the time to go back over more than 2 YEARS worth of posts (I first posted about the backend changes on June 2, 2009) here dealing with this whole mess.....not once (at least not that I can recall when looking through the threads dealing specifically with the stats reporting issues) have many of us questioned whether or not you guys were being honest with the data.....

....but if you do take the time to even stop to think about this......

....how long do you guys think affiliates should have to put up with a stats system that has been an utter and complete FAILURE for over to 2 YEARS!!!

Does Playtech themselves know about how bad YOU GUYS make them look?
